Clouded and can't get to the cross?

Post by Silo »

Recently got clouded in the graveyard, and there's two mummies standing infront of my only way out... And they're not moving? I've been sitting here for a while... Any advice on what to do?

Maybe you can try logging off for a few minutes, then logging back in to check if they've moved away. If that doesn't work, I recommend sending a message to the GMs by using the !gm function. Any GM online can then help you.

Pretty sure logging out = baad for dead character. :P Regardless, I moved away from them for a long time... They still didn't move. And tried !gm. :(

Just out of curiosity, why? What does this help for better Fun/RP/Whatever?

Before you used to lose skill when you died, and you'd keep losing skill until you got revived. So if you happened to die near a cross, all's good - if you spend an hour getting to a cross - you're in a bit of a pickle.

The strange part is that - to my knowledge

- They removed the whole system of you losing more the longer you're around
- If they kept that system in place, it would surely be based on 'logged in time', and if you log out one day and revive the next, you wouldn't have 0 skill in everything.

You only loose skills and items once, just in the moment your character dies.

If you stay a ghost 2 years or if you login and out 200 times does not change anything at all.
