And also, if one persons parry is at a certain level it is sometimes impossible for people's parry lower than that, to hit them, no matter if there is a group of people attacking them. I mean, in RL if one swordsman was attacked my 3 or 4 people at a time, he would not be able to fend them all off, no matter how good he was. However, in the game, you could have one mage with good parry attacking many different people whilst defending themself from 4 people already (so perhaps someone's parry could be divided by 0.5 times the ammout of people are attacking, so 4 on 1 would halve your parry).
This, in my opinion, would add a lot of realism to the game, and also, people attacking monsters would have better success in small groups, even if they aren't very experienced fighter.
