On one of the walls in Banes,

one may notice that a fist-like emblem has been charred on the stones. Possibly with a lighten log.

It's signification and the reason of its presence is unclear.

A man approaches the wall. He glances around to see whether anyone is watching, and then a bright light of magical fire erupts from his hands.

When he leaves you can notice that he has made some additions to the burnt symbol. The symbol now appears to hold a flower in its closed hand
