Baking pies

A friend told me that you can only bake pies on a oven, while another friend told me only a campfire. Which one actually works? And what tools/ingredients do you need for a normal apple pie or cherry cake? And finally, if the option doesn't show up on your "menu", does that mean your skills aren't good enough yet to make that particular item?

Cakes can only be made in an baking oven. If it doesn't show up you're not yet able to bake them whatsoever. Try to get better and with time cakes will pop up in the menu.

Like in real life you will need dough and the fruits you want to put in there. But before I spoil everything, why don't you try to find a baker ingame and ask him or her about the recipe?

the baking/cooking skill are one and the same, thus sometimes it gets mixed up.

For cooking you need a cookinspoon and a campfire, baking is done with a peel and an oven.

An apple/cherry pie only take cherrys/apples and dough and yes, if you are not skilled enough to bake/make something, than it won't show on the menu.
