A small, black robed goblin approaches the Altar of Moshran, bowing deeply. He looks about, suspiciously - he has already been seen more than once on his journies here. Satisfied that he's not being followed, he withdraws a crumpled parchment from the depths of his robes, which he quickly places on the Altar. It glows red as it touches the stone table, and jets of colour from some unknown spectrum fly outwards towards the North, branching as they go; no doubt these will find the men that the parchment calls for...
To the Haven, and its Mighty Overlord, and all the cultists who follow him,
Followers of the Blood God, our time is at hand! A portent has appeared to me, and it is my belief that it should be followed.
How often is it, that the followers of the usurper Gods receive a vision? And yet how much more often is it that we, the rightful servants of a greater God receive visions; but rarely, rarely do we receive such good signs as this...
As I lay asleep last night, in my usual lodgings, I was transported into a realm where only truth lays, that is to say, the truth of prophecy. This was a desert, a sea of sand upon which no island of civilization I could see. And upon this cruel, still scorchingingly hot, night sand there lay a naked form - that of a pregnant human woman. Infact, the woman was birthing at that very moment...but no human child had been conceived...
Her stomach was rent in two, by the clawing, cadaverous form of an undead, while her screams split the night with pain. It crawls, alone onto the sand - its surrogate mother now dead. Death, born from the dead.
The 'child' develops, quickly, almost instantly into an adult form - the rotten flesh being animated and restored, black hair sprouting from its head. But his face...his face was veiled from me.
And up into the sky, the obsidian black sky he looked - and I tell you there were no stars. No stars save for the constellation which leads the fate of so many of us - the constellation of the mage. And O how bright it was! Look into our skies tonight, go into the dark places and look up, and you will see our path lit clearly before us!
We must find these deserts, if they be real, and the one who this child is - for I tell you, nothing I have seen in this world, has been so real as what I saw in that. We must breathe the dry air of these deserts, and bring Moshran's glory into being!
In the name of my two Masters, both Godly and on the path to being a God, I sign,

The same figure approaches the Altar again, in his hands he holds a shorter length of parchment. He doesn't seem so wary anymore, the shadows no longer scare him. He bows to the altar, and places a parchment upon the fresh stone...
To the Haven, and its Mighty Overlord, and all the cultists who follow him,
My brothers, our situation grows ever stronger! Again, again last night I had this vision. What more confirmation do we need of its truthfulness? We must find a course and act upon it!
But, my brothers, there have been changes...Again, this person, the person with the long black hair looks into the sky, but this time as we follow their gaze, we see the sky, nay the constellation of the mage falling! These stars seem to fall in a fiery descent towards the desert ground, but I look, and I see that they are really spiralling towards the being. Suddenly, a flash of white lightning, and the two bodies, celestial and sentient fall together into fusion.
A glow, a dark glow, seems to spread from this body now...This person shall be a light to us...And we shall follow it...Against these black arid skies, how bright shall it be for us.

The short, hooded creature bows to the Altar, addressing it by name, and hurries out, not bothering to look at the shadows moving behind him...
