(some things will be fabricated to fill in parts of the journal, also this will be an open rp as if your character had read this and gave an opinion its a journal / book my character wrote)
Entry 1 : expedition into the western woods, the task to record all flora and fauna as well as geography and bestiary of the western woods.
-After entering in the western woods I immediately began recording my findings on paper the first thing to note was the fir trees they highly and densely populate the whole of the woods especially on the side east of the river of what I believe is part of trolls vein even though it is not connected to it. Another tree that cought my eye was the Naldor tree a light barked and light green leaf coloring stands out amongst the dark green fir trees.
-While looking around I saw that the common red flower was here as well,
along with forest ferns which had a dark green color . the area also has Bushes that resemble at first glance grape vines however its clear the berries I picked are not grapes but a light pinkish berry of no actual name
as I approached the river I noticed great Scandel pines as well as hedge bushes and reeds.
-As I traveled down the river side I came to a small mountain the caves going in brought me to a beautiful cavern and a pleasant waterway with stalagmites and stalactites I found a ladder and went up there was a campsite with a fire someone is close by shouldn't make waves. In the mountain and caves I found gravel stones and common Grey rock , common brown stone , scrub grass , and firs
-Heading west I came upon mushroom circles , legends and myth call these toadstool rings where pixis and sprites live and play horrible acts against other races however I have no proof of this. I also have noticed a rather large amount of common grey stones. old logs and fallen trees. after some walking I found a huge collection of wonderful Mighty eldan oaks beautiful trees full of birds chirping away. while hearing a noise around a tree I quietly creped up ad peered around to catch the common brown rabbit.
-Heading west again I cought a glimpse of something blue to the south,
after finding it I found it to be a blue and white blooming ceridern tree
what a site to see especially as it is the only ceridern in site of this place.
I found an apple tree god thing I was gettin hungry , I can also see cherry trees. heading back west...Again I came upon a rather odd tree known as a Cackdern tree its brown bark and wide tent type canopy gave shade to the forest ground good thing its beginning to rain.
-OOHH while I was sitting under the dry shade of the cackdern I saw a herd of magnificent stags go by with beautiful tan brown fur and wide antlers truly a prize for any hunter. The rain has picked up I cant stay here what luck a house.
-Found a strawberry so it must mean this place can grow them but odd its the only one I saw. we have been going west for awhile now and im surprised to say I found a lot of ceridern trees I still dont get how that lone ceridern got so far away from these guys . must be animals carried the seeds . after a quick look over I believe thats the end of my expedition to the western woods.
PLACES OF INTEREST: Farmers Union is to the south east of the woods,
The Harbour is directly south
ther's a nice hobbit family living in the woods though I won't say where
to the North West is the Monastery of Eldan
and east of that is Druid House
(pleas comment on this I may want to make another)
