Just received from my teacher the HEPT Rune. But it seems this rune is bugged. In Fact I get not even the message * Spell failed*

!gm IG is done and I hope anyone from staff has a Idea-

Habe gerade von meinem Lehrer die HEPT Rune bekommen. Aber scheint diese Rune hat einen Fehler. Fakt - nicht einmal die Meldung *Der Spruch gelingt nicht* erscheint, noch wird ein Spruch ausgelöst.

As an addendum, have no problem with the HEPT spell, so am not sure what has happened.

Du weißt aber schon das die Rune alleine kein Zauberspruch auslöst, vielleicht eifnach mti der falschen Runenkombination ausprobiert?

Yes, very good. All runes are working beside the HEPt. We tried several times in different combinations

Congratulations, you just managed to call most of the people I've taught stupid. Lots of people are taught 2 runes, don't think about which one is which and then complain to me that their spells aren't casting when actually they've just mistaken one rune for another one. It's not unreasonable at all, especially since I went ig to test it and it works absolutely fine for me. Plus LHOR HEPT has a cast time, so the spell was cast correctly you'd have got a #me mutters an ancient formula or whatever it says, regardless of everything.

So, first thing's first, you say you definitely cast it right, fine, if you say so, but that's the most likely thing to be wrong.

Second, I'm not sure if having mage attributes that add up to 30 make you terrible with magic or completely unable to cast whatsoever. Is it possible that you're having a bad day ig and it rendered your attributes too low, or they were too low to begin with?

I still appreciate to do this in a PM Arien, and thanks for a official Warning now.

I have nothing done wrong, maybe I was a bit harsh after Alex words, but this isn't a reason to give me an official warning. You still overdue some things. I had beg you in a PM next time to write to me before posting. And thanks that you react and give me an official Warning.. why not ban ? ??

Problem is solved with Kailas help anyway. I thank Pellandria and Alex for try to help too, wasn't my meaning to be harsh.

It is a little frustrating sometimes with runes and attempting spells, I sent a different picture of the exact runes..the original being hard to tell the runes and how they look in the book . I feel we should have possibly done that before calling a GM but that is all hindsight now. All the suggestions are very helpful for future problems and we both appreciate them.
