Ich spreche Englisch aber ich lerne Deutsch. Ich will auf beide Sprachen fragen.

This game looks good, but I am having a hard time figuring things out. The wiki is not helping me very much. Can someone please explain exactly how to look for seeds, and which plants I can look for them in? The game is not giving me any message when I try using the sickle with a plant I am facing, or just using the sickle, or just using the plant, or using the plant with the sickle.

The same goes for harvesting things I have planted. I try using the sickle with the plant, using the plant with the sickle, just using the sickle, and just using the plant, but nothing happens. If I try to just pick up the plant, it says I need to use a sickle. All my plants have gone back to seed. What am I doing wrong?

Dieses Spiel scheint sehr lustig, aber ich habe ein paar Probleme. Das Wiki hilft mir nicht viel. Bitte erkläre genau wie man nach Samen sucht, und in welche Plantzen man kann suchen? Ich habe zu nutzen gewagt: Sichel mit Pflanze, Pflanze mit Sichel, nur Sichel, und nur Plantze, aber ich nehme nichts.

Es ist ebenso mit Ackerbau. Sichel mit Pflanze, Pflanze mit Sichel... usw. Wenn ich die Pflanze zu nehmen wage, es sagt ,,Du musst ein Sichel nutzen.'' Alle meiner Pflanzen werden nochmal Samen. Was mache ich falsch?

(Bitte berichtiget mich, wenn ich ein Fehler mit meinem Deutsch mache. Ich will mein Deutsch verbessern.)

Okay, I have discovered the problem: I don't have a sickle, only a scythe. For some reason I was equating the two.

Why don't I have a sickle? I started as a farmer, so I would have thought I would have the tools necessary to farm. I have a scythe and a flail and a shovel, but no sickle. Is this normal? Where can I get a sickle?

Warum habe ich keine Sichel? Ich bin Bäuerin, also ich würde glauben, dass ich die wichtig Werkzeuge hätte. Ist es normal eine Sense, eine Schaufel, und einen Flegel zu haben, aber keine Sichel? Wo kann ich eine Sichel finden?

The scythe is also used for farming, just another plant. As for the sickle...if I remember right (haven't gone IG in a while), it can be found in the Grey Castle I think...

Thank you for the response. Could you tell me where the Grey Castle is? It seems so strange that the game starts me with seeds I can't harvest, but no seeds that I can.

The castle is a bit north of Trollsbane. Just follow the path once you go out of the gate next to the stable and turn right when you cross the bridge. Sam will sell you a sickle if he has them. There are often players at the workshop and various places that will sell you one if you ask.

Farming is frustrating at first, but you'll get the hang of it.

Dein Deutsch ist großartig. An der Grammatik musst du noch ein wenig feilen, doch ich glaube sagen zu dürfen, dass du besser Deutsch sprichst als so mancher hier Englisch.

... Flegel zu haben aber... <- kein Komma ,

Hoffe das hilft dir. Das mit "der, die das" ist etwas schwer, da es im englischen ja nur "the" gibt.

Eigentlich heißt es:
Der bei männlichen Nomen.
Die bei weiblichen Nomen.
Das bei Objekten.

Aber dein Deutsch ist wirklich gut, mach nur weiter so.

Wenn du anfangen willst, die deutschen Kommaregeln zu lernen, ist dein Deutsch schon nahezu perfekt

Ich verstehe bis heute nicht die englischen Kommaregeln... wenn es die denn gibt... vielleicht kannst du mir da ja helfen?

Tja, und fast genauso schwer ist das Bauerndasein in Illarion. Ein Tag auf dem Illa-Acker ist dafür aber fast so entspannend wie ein Spaziergang in RL.
