Dodge vs Parry
How do you know when you're training dodge vs when you're training parry?
I'm pretty sure parry is when your shield comes up when they attack right? But what is dodge? And how do get better at it?

Parry is when it shows them attack and you deflect a blow and a shield appears. Dodge is when they attack and it doesn't make a "getting hit" noise, and you don't get hit. You'll get dodge as you train your other skills. Holding no items in your hand might train dodge better, since you won't learn parry.

The only thing you can parry fists with is fists, so this does help dodge, as you won't learn parry pretty much at all if you fight something that uses a weapon with your fists.AlexRose wrote:Parry is when it shows them attack and you deflect a blow and a shield appears. You're wielding sword and shield. Do you want parry or dodge?
You're fighting with fists against someone with swords. Do yo...
Actually, nevermind, we all know there's never going to be a situation where you want dodge more, unless you're running away from something
.
On the other hand, if you have both parry and dodge your double as likely for it to have no effect.
