well, in the last days i got the impression, that the actual gouverner is willing to do the necessary, even, when only inadequate support is avaiable.

in den letzten tagen bekam ich den eindruck, dass die gegenwaertige gouverneurin willens ist, das notwendige zu tun. auch wenn nur ungenuegende unterstuetzung zur verfuegung steht.

I, myself, have wondered if there needs to be a new election. Frankly, every Troll's Bane ruler has always had a period of reign with large challenges to them and formed the guard to protect the town and such things, but it seems this current reign belongs to someone who does nothing and yet still "reigns" and is paid money for it. I should also like to be paid to walk around town, introducing myself as an important person but never really doing anything.

Troll's Bane indeed needs a proper town guard, a proper leader, order, economy with other towns... I would say that even though Rothman eventually went power mad, he at least did these things. In this sense a "traitor" ruler is better than a ruler who does nothing.
