Basically, my idea is that monsters could be lured by things.
For instance, a monster may not see you, behind a tree for instance, but if you talk and they hear you, they may follow you. In this way you could shout out to lure some monsters away from a point.
You could also use fitting items to lure monsters. For instance, if you threw honey on the floor, a bee would follow the honey instead of you, giving a chance to escape. Or throwing that ham you brought for your trip to the woods could be used to lure away the hostile wolves, which would first eat the meat before coming back for you.
Good idea? Bad idea? Possible?

The first i`suggest a sheep-herder, like this working:
-feed edilbe plant to sheep(in this system willpower is taken for personality, i suppose..);
-if it succeeds, the sheep will be willing to stay in an 5x5 area, with the"lurer" in the middle, and will instantly turn around as it enters the 7x7 "belt";
-if the "lurer" moves too fast to have the lured sheep react, and it leaves a 9x9 space, it looses sight on its..master;
-
There is also a RP possibility..i once encountered a wolf, whose stats seemed as low, it could not harm me at all;
Just imagine...a old toothless wolf, nibbling at your toes all the time;
-
The same with a mummy. In the graveyard are often ones, who you don` t even need to parry;
-
Yes, i got it..i`ll play a char, followed by a swarm of flies all the time.
Problem might be, it learns faster to sting more and more painfull, then me to mind it not.
