Im sick of the skill dropping i had a lv 4 carpentry 7 times already cause it kept dropping
ppl add on to this topic about skills so maybe we can have a decent skill system that lowers your skills for a certain amount of time instead of having to rebuild your skills for the millionth time

U probably died to many time 
When u died u skill dropping realy fast...
Anyway i think skill system if very good... ppl afraid to die and it helps against Pk and stuff

why r the most here moaning about the skillloss ?? i dont understand it coz ur skills drop only when u die (a long time as cloud means more skillloss)
i can remember the time as we had a timebased random skillloss (now i have a very low language skill *g*) if u was on ur skills were dropping like a waterfall and this was damn hard but now it is very easy to keep ur skills
btw i think it is too easy now coz i keep my skills even if i dont use my skills for a very long time
i think the skillloss sys will change like other things will change coz we r still in alpha phase pls remamber this if u start to moan over and over again the same thing (especially if the ppl post the same topic in a few new threads in different boards)

I'd much rather have a penalty for dying than a penalty for not using a hard earned skill. Just because I haven't used QuickBasic in 4 years doesn't mean I can't program in it Other games take a cheaper route: some take the most expensive item from you.
