There are a lot of things that can disturb the calm. Swimming in the river can be considered this. Drinking too much can be considered this. Then, if a guard feels like it, you have to stop what you're doing, or else you are breaking the law.b) Disturbance
Everyone who disturbs the calmness and peace in Troll’s Bane by any excessively repeated verbal or physical actions and continues to do so even after official warning, commits crime in terms of the Criminal Law.
If you wear a helmet in Troll's Bane, you could possibly face trouble with the law if they ask you to remove it. Or perhaps a hat? A robe while the weather is poor?e) Mummery
Everyone who tries to hide his identity and true appearance with help of clothes, armors or any other utilities commits crime in terms of the Criminal Law. If one not willing to get rid of the mummery by request of the authority, the person commits crime in terms of Civil Disorder. People can ask the authority (Governor, Captain or Magistrate) for official permission to hide the own identity by clothes, armors or other utilities.
What's wrong if someone has a small blade with them while in a tavern or store? A lot of weird things can happen. Also, you make no mention of what is considered a weapon. If a tailor has a pair of scissors in their pocket, and then tries to stab someone, will you strip search all people suspected of carrying scissors? Also, if I am to be strip-searched, can I request a female to do the procedure?f) Hiding weapons
Everyone who hides weapons commits crime in terms of the Criminal Law. The Authority is allowed to strip-search someone if there is reasonable suspicion that someone hides a weapon. In general people are allowed to wear weapons for purposes of self-defense as long as the weapons are visible and kept safe.
Am I disrespecting any guards or officials here? If so, please don't hurt me! Tell me what to do! I can't think for myself! Let me be your slave!e) Disrespect of Authority
Everyone who insults, defames or treats a member of the Town Guard or Government disrespectfully or derogatorily by words or actions commits crime in terms of the Criminal Law.
I'm not sure how to respond to this one, so I'll just let it go as it seems foolish enough on it's own.h) Defamation
Everyone who purposely designs and spreads wrong facts to harm someone else or to have own benefit from doing so commits crime in terms of the Criminal Law.
Citizens and travelers have been warned about some of the nonsense that is possible with these new rules. These laws allow for a tiny space of breathing room, but to be safe, just don't bring any weapons, wear as little clothing as possible, and don't speak an opinion about anything. You should be alright then, unless you disturb the calm, which can be decided at their disposal.
Sincerely,
An Objective On-looker
