It was the  7th day of the 2nd month in the springtimeseason when a roaring thunder could be heard roling over the lands. its origin seemed hard to tell, but most placed it somewhere to the north. shortly after that a cloud rose in the north like pilar and soon a light fog covered the land. its odor was unbearable - sulfur as some alchemists seemed to recognize it - together with rott and decay. a litte child suddenly cried and pointed at the misty evening sky, babbling about some huge fleeting shade against the stars. Some elders looked were it pointed, but could see nothing, and thus dismissed it.
Was the terrible stink another plot of Drakhen the despised again. Or was it some other evil power, sheeming and loathsome??

a day later a timberman told, he had found little pools of red dark fluid in the forest. He had poked at it with his walking stick - so he told - and it had sizzled and withered where it was covered by the fluid. He had run in terror, and later on just dark liveless patches could be found on the forestfloor, where he led alchemists to show his finding.

It was a fine Springtime Day, when a short darkness fell over the city of Trolls Bane.
A thundering  "GROOAAARRRR" could be heard and then all was as before..  it seemed.

In the Northwest of town the citizens found the earth scorched and the trees burned down.
Some large blast of fire seemed to have set them ablaze.....
What might have done such destruction...
