Suggestion: Maps
Basically the suggestion is that when you press f9 map data doesn't appear and you don't automatically obtain it, but the minimap has everything you've personally seen on it. Anyway the point being, you have 3 options when you get quill, ink and parchment. 1. Auto plot map. Everything on the screen is plotted so when you press f9 you can see that. You can buy and sell maps so you can buy full maps from people. 2. You can also duplicate a map with two maps. 3. You can draw on maps yourself to plot things that are important. Like an X where the woman in the forest is etc. Discuss.

one problem, how does the server determine which area of the ig map you have seen before, like playernames this are lokal data, this things to store on the server is much overhead.AlexRose wrote:Basically the suggestion is that when you press f9 map data doesn't appear and you don't automatically obtain it, but the minimap has everything you've personally seen on it. But then to sell a map, you'd need a P2P file transfer... or you put a load on the server to transfer the files.AlexRose wrote:Well map data is already stored on our pc, couldn't we just store more data; I personally wouldn't mind a bit more space being used.
Plus you can copy each file 10 tymes, and sell 10 maps.
