Want to learn how to make dyes?

Post by Juniper Onyx »

~A notice posted in major towns of Gobiath~

Learn how to Dye!

Yes!

The Tailoring Guild is sponsoring a workshop on how to make dyes for cloth. We will be teaching the basics of making dye, ingredients needed and how to dye the cloth. You will learn how to make green, yellow, red (both ways), and black dyes.

Admission is only 2 silvers (Free to guild members) which will give you 5 free buckets and a stirring rod at the workshop. You must have your own mortar to participate. Proceeds go to the Tailoring Guild of Gobiath.

Meet at the campsite in Greenbriar in one week.
((Sunday 5pm GMT))

That will cover the first lesson of many that will be offered by our guild.
I currently have to go away for a little time ((Still those internet problems), and when I am back, hopefully I can get on working for more silvers to get the actual building done.
Thank you Dusty for lending some of your time to raise fund for the guild..

Dusty~

You are indeed an amazing halfling. You hear of a need and almost immediately you step forward to see that the need is filled.

I look forward to attending your workshop if I am able at that time; and despite being a member of the guild, I will pay the fee to see the materials covered.

Well, yes, I'll be there as well. Don't know if it is needed but I will take a little amount of buckets with me and incredients.
I also can offer a mortar for those don't have one by their own.

It seem I have come back earlier than I thought, as a general news, the pigs and sheep we ordered seem to be in a very good shape! I'll get them shipped from the harbor as soon as we have the guild built.
I encourage everyone to assist to Dusty's class, I will try to make it too, just to keep an overview of the situation, and make sure no one comes to corrupt the event or anything.

Dear guildmembers....

There has been a slight change in plans on our animals. I went to the docks today to see about our pigs and sheep. I counted the sheep, but when the pigs were released, they were Huge!! and had horns!!! I think someone messed up the order from the mainland.

((Our builder said no to pigs, but replaced them with cows. Too many areas have pigs as it is.))

The building of the guild still isn't constructed. We lack silver. About 200. I am not really sure how Mayor Dusty will be organizing this class, but I'm sure it'll work nicely.

Yes, If anyone has cabbages, bring those for a demonstration. Everyone should have a mortar. I have plenty of buckets and stirring rods so those aren't a problem. The Yellow to Black dyes will be lecture only as they require some skill to make.

Thanks,
~Dusty
