Questions for the druids, second attempt

Well, i have not gotten any answers for my questions, i pinned on your guild-board. So i will pinn them here.

Sehr verehrte Druiden des Waldes

Ich trage mich nun schon länger mit dem Gedanken um Aufnahme zu bitten, möchte vorher jedoch eure Antworten, zu einigen von mir entwickelte Fragen bezüglich der Natur, des Lebens, und eures Kodex.

1. Was soll ein Druide tuen, wenn er, zum Beispiel, ein krankes Reh entdeckt. Nehmen wir an das es noch genug Kraft hat euch zu entkommen, es ist euch also nicht möglich nah genug an es heranzukommen um es zu heilen, falls ihr überhaupt die Mittel dafür habt. Ihr wisst das wenn ihr das Reh nicht rettet, bald sämtliche Wildbestände der umliegenden Wälder infiziert werden und wahrscheinlich sterben.
Wäre es rechtens das Tier mit einem Schuss zu erlösen?

2. Gleiche Frage nur bei Humanoiden. Selbstervständlich würdet ihr zwar mit dem Kranken in Kontakt treten können aber was wenn euch die Mittel zur Heilung fehlen? Und wenn der Kranke solche Schmerzen leidet das er dem Tod zustimmen würde?

3. Ähnliche Frage: was tut ihr wenn ihr wisst das ein neues Rudel Wölfe in den Wald gekommen ist, und es die Wildbestände fast bis zur Ausrottung jagt? Würdet ihr beginnen die Wölfe zu jagen, damit das Gleichgewicht wiederhergestellt wird?

4. Wie werden Wilderer bestraft?

5. Wenn nicht...warum nicht? Schließlich schreibt ihr im Kodex das alles Leben gleich viel wert ist....also sollten auch dieselben oder ähnliche Strafen bei verletzung des Lebens auferlegt werden.
Selbstverständlich werden Bäume gefällt und Tiere geschlachtet, aber Humanoide die Tiere ohne ersichtlichen Grund ermorden, oder Bäume im Übermaß fällen so das der Wald bedroht wird, ohne das sie das Opfer des Lebens nicht wertschätzen?

6. Gibt es Vorschriften zur Art des Lebens? Als Beispiel: Kein Leder, kein Fleisch?
Wenn man kein Fleisch essen darf, warum darf man dann Obst essen? Sind Früchte nicht auch Leben?


7. Warum soll man sich nicht verteidigen wenn man angegriffen würde?
Soll man etwa nicht auch das eigene Leben schützen wie das der anderen?

8. Was tut ihr wenn ihr von wilden Tieren angegriffen werdet?

9. Und ihr nicht fliehen könnt?

Meine Antworten.

1. Ja.

2. Ja, wobei es auch darum geht ob der Kranke dem nicht zustimmt, bei fehlender Zustimmung sollte man den Kranken aus der Stadt entfernen, wenn möglich gewaltlos.

3. Ja, aber ich würde dafür sorgen das nur Mitglieder der Organisation die den Wald schützt die Wölfe jagen, um dafür zu sorgen das nicht die Wölfe ausgerottet werden.

Honoured Druids of the Forest

I have thought about asking you, if i could join you for quiet a while now, but before i do that, i have to ask you for some answers for my questions about Life, Nature and youre Codex.

1. If you know that a Animal is infected, and you cannot reach or heal it, and it would infect the other animals, surely leading most of the forest to death, would you kill it without much pain?

2. Same questions, but for people. Of course only if the person has so much pain, that the person agrees and only if you cannot heal her.

3. If you know of a wolf pack, thats is new in the forest, and together with the old Pack, its killing so much Animals that, theire near Extinction, would you start hunting the wolfes to restore balance?

4. How do you punish poacher?

5. If not, why not? In youre Codex you write that all Life is worth the same, of course are Trees cut for wood and animals hunted for flesh. But i mean, how do you punish people that kill without using the flesh and ressources, without appreciating the sacrefice that Life has given them?

6. Are there restrictions to the Life Style of a Druid? Like, no leather clothing, no meat? And if you are not allowed to eat meat, why are you allowed to eat fruits? Aren´t fruits Life too?

7. Why shouldn´t you defend yourselfe, if attacked?
Shouldn´t you defend youre ouwn Life as you would defend the Life of others?

8. What do you do if you are attacked by wild animals?

9. and if you cannot escape?

My Answers

1. Yes

2. Yes if the person agrees, if not, i would try to remove the sick person without force out of the town, but with force if it is really necessary.

3. Yes, but i would´nt allowe other people than the druids (or the organisation which cares for the Nature) to hunt them, so that the wolfes don´t become extinct.

4. Very hard.
