armor and dodge

Post by Ganon Harper »

I’m curious of something. I’m aware that different armor have different protection. I’m also aware different armor has a better chance to dodge such as leather is easier to dodge in than steel. but what I’m asking is, are all leathers the same when it comes to dodging or are they grouped together? would you dodge better naked than in full leather armor? is leather scale armor easier to dodge in than full leather?

Yes you would dodge better naked, but it does you massive damage from anything obviously. And well, noone goes out naked, wear a shirt, dress, robe or something in public places
And I'm not sure but I think scale allows you to dodge better than a full one.

The Irish fought wars naked. I think we should take their example.

Every single armor has a own value for affecting dodge.

Darrr... Don't you hear what Nitram said? Yes, each armor has unique set of stat. If all is the same, why do we need so much names?

Erm..Armors have an effect towards dodge, but they have no effect about parry, I have no idea what you mean by 'strenght', and no they do not even have a 'added wait' .

oops mispelling, i ment added weight, when your character carries more weight they move slower, i was asking if the affected movement speed more then just adding weight. for the strength one nvm.
