Logged out by server, reason old client version

Reinstalled windows on my laptop last night, all up to date. Downloaed the Java Runtime, and Illarion but when ever I try to play it it loads up the game but the items slots and game view area are black. Then it quite to desk top and I get:

Logged out by server
Reason: Old client version
Character: Drathe Blue

I have not coppied any of my logs or char files from an old install and when I load it up jave does check for latest version.... any help please?

Laptop, windows XP sp2 all uptodate, java runtime from Illarion web site link which auto updated to version 6.

I got this too just now. Just logged in again and it worked fine.

Did you also installed your latest video drivers aswell as DirectX ?

Sometimes the "old client" error also showes up when the client is connecting very slowly to the server.

Thank you but it has not solved the problem, reinstalled direct x 9c, and display drivers. Unistalled Illarion from jave web sart and reinstalled from the downloaded off line install version of the client it gets half way and says can not import client.

Any other ideas

That happened to me also. I waited a bit then I tried to log in again and it worked fine
