I did a small update on the fighting system and the monsters. Now i'm looking forward, to any opinions about the changings.

Can we ask what you did? Or is it really obvious?

all in all only some calculations.
Tactics has a smaller influence now. For this reason all characters should be a little stronger now.
Furthermore i changed the Dodge thing nearly completly. Now you should be able to dodge really seldom.
At the monsters i made it possible to run away from the fast monsters like wolves. And the monster mages, do an emote now, when then cast. So you know where it comes from.

Today there were some fights. Anyone around who can tell something? ^^

Keine Chance ---

Alexander killed a mummy, and from previous experience with mummies, it seemed very much the same, It died quickly. I couldn't notice a difference, but it was only one fight.

you guys completely killed the dodge skill. My dodge is pretty high... i'd say around 75/100 and i cant even dodge mummies with leather armor on. Right now the dodge skill is worthless, and the agility attribute is pretty pointless now
I suggest going back to the way it was

I agree, dodging played a *huge* role in medieval battle, so why not here? It's based around armor and swords, so they have nearly the same basis.

Is it just me, or are mummies hitting a lot faster than they used to? It seems like the shots are a lot more rapid. I also noticed, during an attack on town, that a skeleton was able to kill me in just TWO hits! Now, I've fought skeletons before, and they've NEVER done anything remotely close to that. Was it some kind of glitch, or are their different levels of skeleton?

There are more mummies and undead in the crypt but to be they seem weaker. I walk out of there without even a centimeter off my health.

Maybe it was the odd magical skeleton I encontered in town, no NPCs can kill a fighter in 2 hits.

no NPCs can kill a fighter in 2 hits
Some just need one. At least before this update, haven't checked those uber monsters yet.

Well, an armored fighter with over average constitution getting killed in 2 hits? Never seen that

I agree with Salathe anyway. Old fighting system and old learning system. I had no trouble or problems at all.

The fighting system is getting worked on so I think we could wait a bit before wanting to get it back like before. The learning system I really dont know, seems like we are making a new each week and its always having more problems..maybe we should FINISH it and THEN implement it.

The answer is simple:
NO

Well i didnt mean have everything go back, just dodging. Or atleast make it easier to dodge. Dodging right now is really bad, especially if i cant even dodge mummies in leather armor. Maybe make it about half as easy as it used to be?
And i fought that skeleton too Jaeln, got me in 3 hits. Maybe it was a magic one, they still seemed to be glitched, so you cant tell that they are casting magic, and they cast very fast.

Before is was bugged. And for this reason it was possible to dodge every single hit.

about the magic using skeletions. if there is an Emote for magic casting monsters, it isn't working with them. still silent and still invisable casting.
