A messenger boy runs up to the board quickly, attaching a fine vellum parchment and then flees quickly again.
Dear Townsfolk,
I am sure the words of myself will interest you all concerning the details of both Rothman's disposition and his contract with the temple.
In answer to your first query, yes, Rothman did indeed hold a contract with my establishment. The terms of the contract simply stated that in return for protection, and tolerance within the fair town of Trollsbane, the temple would fund Mr Rothman a set amount of silvers each month for the duration of the contract. In addition to this, the temple's actions within the town would be largely overlooked by the authorities.
Rothman did infact approach the temple with a request for military aid against the dwarves. Naturally we responded that we were not a military establishment and so forth declined his request. Despite his insistance we had no desire to war against the dwarves.
Finally Rothman's will broke when he decided to betray not only the town to us, but further betray the temple itself by attempting to imprison myself. It is from this action I have decided to write this fine parchment to show the true extent of Rothman's corruption.
Yours most graciously,
The Obsidian Lich

I got wind of something similar, hence I tried to begin a trial, but of course everyone overreacted to that, saying I was trying to take over. But, as for reasons stated above, I still don't trust your words fully, you need to bring forth evidence of some sort. Until then nothing will be done since you seem to be angry and looking for some way to take revenge at this point. If you have something, contact the magistrate, if not, go away.
He did something you didn't like, now you try and attack him, no matter if it is truth or not.

Dear Fooser
Name what evidence you need, and I shall provide it if I am able. Sometimes it is more damning to speak the truth, than to tell lies.
Though what more evidence do you need, than the fact that for weeks we have walked freely within the walls of your beloved city? Been defended by the guard and free to use its rescources.
Or would you like the scribings of the meeting we had, that day in the small hut of the farmers union, where we talked and discussed the treaty?
