Another year...

It was his birthday. Or at least he thought it was. It was near the beginning of the year, and he was happy.
Over the course of a few months, he changed drastically. Physically, Mentally, Spiritually. He was becoming more mature and making better decisions with his life.

He rubbed his chin in thought a moment as he sat around the fire alone, already small blonde hairs were beginning to grow. He smirked slightly to himself, still staring into the fire.
He was beginning to think about things. How he would make his own income without relying on others to help him. How he would become more involved in the world around him. He also began to think on his past. His mother, father and his older brother.
Perhaps they meant to leave him here by himself, perhaps they forgot. One small thought blackened his thoughts, what if they meant to leave him? No. Couldn't be.

He wouldn't think about this on his birthday of all days, afterall, this was supposed to be a happy day, right?
