Warnung für alle Magier und Druiden, und vor allem deren Meister, ich wurde heute von einem jungen Mann angesprochen, der mich fragte, ob ich ein Magier und Druide sei. Ich antwortete ihm, dass ich ein Novize der Druiden des Waldes bin und er bat mich, ihn zu unterrichten, was ich natürlich ablehnte. Ich trugt ihm auf, eine Taube an Averinjah zu schicken und sie um Rat zu bitten, da ich nicht berechtigt bin, Schüler auszubilden. Er zog von Dannen und kam wenige Minuten später wieder zurück, er habe jetzt mit Lady Meryadeles gesprochen und sie um seine Aufnahme als Schüler gebeten, woraufhin sie antwortete, sie werde darüber nachdenken. Als ich ihm dann klarmachte, dass er nur Magier ODER Druide werden kann und das auch nicht einfach so, sondern dass man dazu berufen sein muss, lachte er mich aus und sagte er sei ein sehr vielschichtiger Mann. Ich erwiederte, dass kein Magier einen Druide, noch ein Druide einen Magier unterrichten würde, woraufhin er meinte er würde seine Meister einfach belügen und wegrannte. Deshalb möchte ich alle Mitglieder der magischen Gemeinschaft um höchste Vorsicht bitten, man sollte ihm kein Wissen über unsere Künste in die Hände legen, oder es könnte schlimmste Folgen haben. Ich hoffe meine Warnung wird ernst genommen.

Warning to all mages and druids and especially their masters, a young human came to me today and asked me, if I'd know a druid or a mage, so i responded that I am a apperentice of the druids of the forest. He asked me to learn him druidism and of course, I said no. I told him, to send a dove to Averinjah, so that she can think about his membership of the druids of the forest and he nodded and walked away. Only a few minutes later he came back and told me, that he asked Lady Meryadeles for the alowness to become her student and she answered, that she'll think about. So I told him, that he cannot be both, a mage and a druid, because you can't just easily choose to become one and that you have to have a special talent for both. He laughed and told me, that he is a very skilled man and that he'll be able to become both. I shaked my head and said, that there's no way to become a druid and a mage, because no druid would teach a mage and no mage would teach a druid, but he only laughed again and said he'll tell lies to his masters then. Than he ran away. That's why i want to warn everyone, not to teach him. We shouldn't teach him our Knowledge, it could have be bad consequences. I hope, that everyone will take my words as a serious warning.

I know, that things like this are possible, but you don't wanted to become both, only for having the double power, i think, or did you?

And he didnt give me a good point, why he wants to become a druid or a mage, he just said, that he wants to learn anything.

The nature of the runes make it simply not possibel to use the elementary and druid magic. But sure you can be as a user of runes also a alchemist, if you think you can handel both thinks. A alchemist can only make some simpel mixture's, but he will never abel to use the magic of druid's.

Laviath, I would never lie. When the time comes i would have told them. Please think. Think about a mage and a druid together. He would be a very strong person. Laviath, I wanted to be a mage, yes. Lately, I have been fascinated by Druids. With a druid's power, people are healed. I want to heal people, not for the copper but for the pride that I saved someone. Laviath, happy news to you, i have been rejected by Lady Merdeles. Last week, I heard news that my family was killed. For i could not become an apprentice in time. The governor's, of my village, first decision was that he would kill me with my family. However, he will let me 5 years to prove myself. Even, if he does come, I will attack his guards with no mercy. For, being poor is not a reason to be killed for. Please, Laviath ask your teacher to give me a chance. Please.

I am sorry, but i cannot teach you, even if I would. you should ask Averinjah, she is our leader. I am only a student of Yridia and I only had two lessons so far, so i don't know much about druidism yet. And I am not allowed to choose any apperentices.

That is ok. I have talked to your teacher. She asked me to wait a week and give my answer. So, I waited and I sent the reply yesterday. With my reply I told her about me becoming a mage and all of that. I have not recieved a reply yet. I am waiting.

It is in fact a noble pursuit, and one that should garner respect and courtesy, rather than scorn and rudeness; however, one who seeks to learn should not let his own arrogance interfere with his goals, for not many will help he who acts as though he needs nothing from no one.
