New Character won't play

I made a new character and it won't let me play it, it says "logged off by server because the character is unknown" can anyone help me please?

Names and Passwords are Case Sensitive.

EG: Password is kYlA
You have to type in KYlA

I checked my password and account name and everything was fine. It's still kicking me out

I don't know then. Must be a bug with the new account system.

There was a bug, indeed. You can log into the account system an set the values for your character again. It should work fine now.
