Could I RP a philosopher?

Post by Llama »

I have a character who;s geared up to be one.. the only problem is this...

1) I think I'd disturb the RP
2) I don't want to get !Gmed for doing something which is RP to myself
3) I dont want to disturb a bunch of n00bs...

=

So, can I please RP a philosopher ? [To the GMS]

A person who thinks, and tries to use a strange sort of logic to explain things he can't prove otherwise, or interprete data.

The disturbance to RP would be for example: Shouting out that the world is all virtual, peopel are living a lie et cetera which could be interpreted badly in the game...

Whats the difference? :)

One philosopher for example, in order to prove that he was a god; jumped into the etna...

That's not a philosopher Hadrian. Thats an idiot.

A philosopher is someone like Ayn Rand, someone who develops and or defines a rational way life, existance, and humanity. Dictionary.com defines it as: a wise person who is calm and rational; someone who lives a life of reason with equanimity. Sure, philosophers are thinkers, but they're also 'do'ers and 'live'ers.

Good luck.

Play your philosopher Hadrian. If you start referring to the CTRL key in a literal fashion however, you might find your philosopher taking a very long trip to the old philosopher's home.
