Owner of Tavern of Trolls Bane

It has come to my attention that the tavern's keeper has not be seen to the management's general upkeep in sometime. I would like to see the current owner of the tavern. If the owner fails to meet me within the month ((week in real life)) the tavern will be put up to auction.

The tavern is property of Elderking Tialdin! The current peoples leading it are for example Brendiil Al'Ad Kàzár!

It is also property of Silverbrand!

I would advice you to stop immediately your wish to sell property of Silverbrand. The tavern stood in trollsbane long before you ever made your first step on Gobaith, and since the first day it was property of Tialdin and Silverbrand. And that never will change!

Borgate is working day and night for Tialdin in the tavern, so don't ever dare to tell us it is inactive and unused!

We, the actual Tenants of tha Tavern, ar' very angry becaus of yer suggestion...

Tha Tavern is proberty of Elderking Tialdin an' Silverbrand! Ye can't sell the proberty of somebody else by an auction!
First talk with Elderking Tialdin, he has to decide what happens wit' tha Tavern. He has build it an' he is still the owner!

My Brother Einkill, tha Lizard Scorba an' me plan great things with tha Tavern an' we also pay taxes fer it!
I think yer only problem ye hav' is that we aren't citizen of yer Town, but this will not giv' ye tha right to sell it by an auction!

I hav' send a dove to Tialdin, I hope he read my letters an' comes quickly to Trolls Bane to clarify the whole thing with ye Steven!

You whom are never making announcements that you own the tavern nor do you live in Trolls Bane, nor can you say Tialdin owns it because he has never entered the walls of Trolls Bane more then twice this year. If you will pay the tax for it, then of course you may keep it. But if you will slip into inactivity then certainly you will lose it to auction, regardless of whom owns it.
Further more I never said I would auction it immediately. The owner of the tavern has until the end of this month to contact with me and pay their taxes before I consider auctioning the tavern. I assume they have ample time to do this.

Tha announcement was ther', just in tha old tongue. if ya ar' not leader enough to let someone translate tha announcements, its ya own fault lad.

Tialdin entered tha town of trolls bane this year mor' than ya think. An' even if not. tha tavern is his property, an' will stay it. An' he has tenants, who lead it. An' he has Borgate, who works day an' night in it. Try to sell it, an' Silverbrand will see that as an aggressive act. An' than ya may hav' bigger problems than taxin' ya peoples.

Tha tavern is NOT inactive. it is under daily use. Borgate sells day an' night for tha Elderkin' an' tha tenants drinks to tha guests. Sayin' it is inactive, is a lie.

Ich werde keine Anweisungen von einer Selbstproklamierten Regierung annehmen,
welche sich nicht einmal um den Austausch von Botschaftern mit dem Königreich
Silberbrand und damit um eine Anerkennung der Regierung durch König Ghorn
bemüht hat.

Damit Spreche ich dem so genannten Gouverneur die Legitimation ab, über meinen
Grund und Boden zu verfügen. Geschweige denn irgendwelche Steuern von
Grundstückeigentümern zu verlangen.
Der Ausbau der Infrastruktur der Insel
zu welchem ich auch die Taverne zähle wurde in erster Linie von den
Grundstücks- und Gebäudeeigentümern finanziert, diesen jetzt auch noch eine Steuer
abverlangen zu wollen ist eine Unverfrorenheit sondergleichen und stellt
eine erhebliche Ungerechtigkeit dar.

Die Taverne und die Bibliothek waren das vierte und fünfte Gebäude auf der Insel.
Drumherum standen nur die Werkstatt, Elisas Laden und der Magierturm. Zum Zeitpunkt
des Baus der Taverne lag sie AUßERHALB der Stadtgrenzen von Trolls Bane.
Erst die nachträglich erbaute Stadtmauer hat die Stadtgrenze so verlegt das die
Taverne eingemeindet wurde.

Alle nachfolgende legitimen Regierungen von Trolls Bane haben die Eigentumsrechte an den
Gebäuden anerkannt, dieses nun zu ändern ist ein Akt der Willkür gegen den sich
jedes rechtschaffene Wesen zur wehr setzen sollte.
Desweiteren lag die Taverne immer unter einer gemeinsamen
Rechtsprechung von Silberbrand und Trolls Bane, eine Einzelentscheidung
aus Trolls Bane bezüglich der Taverne bedarf also weiterhin
der Zustimmung des Königs von Silberbrand.

Ferner wird die Taverne derzeit von den drei Pächtern geführt, da ich meinen
Altersruhesitz nur noch sehr selten zu verlassen Pflege. Eine Versteigerung ist also
absolut unnötig.

I will not accept directions from a self proclaimed government,
that did not bother to exchange ambassadors with the Kingdom of
Silverbrand nor bother to become acknowledged by King Ghorn.

Therefor I denie the so called governor the power to do what we wants to,
with my property, left aside the taxation of owners of property.

The improvement of the islands infrastructure, which I feel the tavern to
be a part of, was mainly payed by owners of land or buildings.
It is more than bold wanting to charge them taxes aswell and is a heavy injustice in my eyes.

The tavern and the library were the fourth and fifth building on the island.
Other buildings around were the workingplace, Elisas Shop and the magicians tower.
As the tavern was constructed it was situated OUTSIDE the limits of Trollsbane.
The walls which have been build afterwards have altered the citylimits so the tavern was inside the town from then on.

All following legetimated governments of Trollsbane have acknowledged
the rights of property upon these buildings, changing this now is an
arbitrary action which every lawful being should stand up against.
Furthermore the laws of Silverbrand and Trollsbane both applied for the tavern at all times.
A decision made by Trollsbane alone, regarding the tavern still has to be
approved by the King of Silverbrand aswell.

Furthermore the tavern is run by three tenants because I tend to not
leave my old-age residence very often anymore.
An auction therefor is absolutely unnecessary.

Regardless of what the Current and Former dwarven kings have written the tavern will be taxed for owning property within Trolls Bane. I would very much like to speak to either of you tenants to discuss the price.

Why does self-proclimation suddenly play such a strong role in things? Especially coming from a KING? No government of Trollsbane has ever been not self-proclaimed. And to this time, Silverbrand has supported self-proclaimed governments quite extensively. We are trying to make things less like this by voting and such,

It has been quite a few months since this issue was raised. The dwarves of Silverbrand/owners of the tavern were told to find a time when all of them, (those who wanted to be involved), could host a meeting and speak to me on the issue of not being taxed.
I once again urge you to get organized and your act together and contact me. Official taxing will begin very soon.

Turonga, I don't know where you got your information, but I am the tax collecter of Troll's Bane currently, and I'm sure Stephen can verify that.

The tavern will be taxed, and if you don't like it, you can take it apart, brick by brick, to Silverbrand.
