The New Fighting system
It seems waaay too overpowered for me...
It took me 1.5 mins (REAL) to kill a swarm; and killing 2 mummies made me reach my cap, and he's an average fighter.
Also there seems to be a trouble with the waraxes..
Anyone?

My char got this skill, and its name explains it all. I guess it helps everything a little bit in its own way. Still, I can't see how people stink so bad, I mean I guess my characters is one of the best fighters but only the magic casting skellys did much damage. Red skeletons are tough, tough as hell, and the one that summoned skeletons well, my char ran away screaming like a little girl. Consider grouping to take out these powerful undead.

With which weapon? Did you ever try to fight flies with a sharp sword or a dagger?Hadrian_Abela wrote:It took me 1.5 mins (REAL) to kill a swarm;
Well, the cap means nothing.and killing 2 mummies made me reach my cap, and he's an average fighter.

No, I usually use flyspraymartin wrote:With which weapon? Did you ever try to fight flies with a sharp sword or a dagger?Hadrian_Abela wrote:It took me 1.5 mins (REAL) to kill a swarm;
With a snakesword and shield....
That's just for PvP and I don't think that I give out a secret if I tell you that every metal made plate has about the same "weaknesses". Leather armor might be a different story.Samantha Meryadeles wrote:With think you dont come far, you have to test. there is no hint that could tell you now what weapons is best against lor-angru, nightblade, heavy steelplate, or whatever.
You just find out with many tests in pvp
As for monsters, think.

Bad choice.
Try to imagine that IRL. You hitting a swarm of flies with a snakesword?

yes Gabon got absloutly murdered by a demon skelliton and a mummy when he was fighting with Athain. Lost my nightplate but Gabon is very very strong
he has only attributes to be a fighter and thats all his skills are, if intelegence is needed to learn more then Gabon is screwed, at the time it was really fun down in the cript when me, Salathe, Reltak, Gort, and Athain went into the cripts but if you dont fight in groups your gonna get desicrated...sorry to the new people

My points are these:
1) Noobs will get slaughtered...or fight in groups and pick up the rubbish which everyone else leaves
2) Archers and mages will get over-run by the extreme spawning levels...
3) Less usable weapons are beign dropped for n00bs, this will force them to have to get money to BUY things...which might be a problem. You used to be able to pick up 1 helm/ mummy.. now the helms are rarer (and nicer)
4) Everything else I like...

i am confused.. its almost asif the skills atatcking and parrying have become uneven. when players fight, sure you can parry blows and receive no damage, but most of the time the players hit and within 4 hits tey could probably kill eachover. fighting monsters you dont hurt them any extra i have noticed..
