The lizard smiled, as he folded a letter and sent it quickly by dove to Stephen Rothman.
The letter read:
"Urgent
We have decided to hand over Spinner to you, but he has excaped us; he has been spotted in the southern forest; however there are some of those still loyal to him around the forest... come quickly and come silently. Dont bring an entire army for him, or they'll be spotted...
Brother Selisidour"
The lizard smiled again, all was going to plan.

Stephen reads the letter several times, he is careful tho. He did not know nor trust Selisidour but he couldn't imagine the lizard would try to harm him intentionally. Stephen knew that it was possible Gort and Spinner along with Retlak could be staying together, but Gort and Retlak had been beaten the day previous and certainly Stephen could handle them alone..
Stephen began to grab his armour, he would hunt the bandit.[/i]

It was a desperate step the Duke of Kallahorn was taking, but it was needed. It seemed everything he did was wrong, he had to just kill Spinner here and now then return to Trolls Bane and proclaim the threat of that particular bandit was over. The tall and powerfully built nobleman wore midnight black platemail, blue steel greaves, boots and gloves leaving his head helmetless for the time being. He had the mighty blade of Kallahorn sheathed at his side, the steel of the sword was ready to draw blood, the man knew it. He had taken a few potions with him as well as an elven bow he had been training with, he was prepared to kill Spinner as the bandit fled from him. Confidently the warrior strode through the forest floor with soft steps.
