Is it possible to greate a "good" or "new" quality item with low dextatity?

Does skill have anything to do with this?

Like lets say you can make a lor-angur armor, will skill level affect your ability to make a plate armor good or new?

Yes. As better your skill as better your change to make a better item you was able to craft some levels ago.

Crafting skills depend a lot on your dex, and also on the skill.

The greater the skill, the greater the quality; the harder the item, the less the quality.

Of course these are all chances.. you can fail making the simplest items even if you're the best smith on the island (yes sal,.. you)
