Enough is enough and your continual threats against the dwarfs of Silverbrand will not be tolerated. Simply as Gabon none of the dwarfs are warriors so they are no threat.In my eyes no words are worth death or the war you would wage for pride against the dwarfs.
The belief might make’s right may serve orcs but we will not stand by and see a peaceful group brought war for pride and words. Any aggression against the dwarfs of Silverbrand shall be met by Salathe and myself and those allied to us.
So if you seek a war be prepared for one brought you by warriors not smiths as we now stand allied to Silverbrand.
The hoarde may accuse the dwarfs of insult but words are words and your hoard protected Gishmel this day a far worse offence, harboring that dog is also to cease immediately. Alkurg has often been found fighting any one not Gishmel in the past.
With this note I deem the matter closed and would hope orcs and dwarfs will coexist in peace how ever uneasy. It is a generous offer that will save us both blood and let the hoard remain intact

I must protest this entire debacle, I am friends with both Pendar Fayed and Gabon Corad and I have no enemies in Silverbrand, I even helped save Durin Silverbart today from certain death. I do not see why this public notice was nessasary, it only further stepped on the pride of the orcs to show where you stood. Going to Gabon would have been so much more courteous and would probably have resulted in a peaceful stand down. As I have been saying, the orcs do not want a war, this is why Gabon has bent over backwards to avoid one. However the dwarves of silverbrand have insulted him and have continually sought a battle because of the same hurt pride you, Pendar, say the orcs carry.
I do not say I think one side should win, I think this war should never happen, but if it does happen, I think Pendar I can blame you for going so far to humilate the orcs even further which drives them to war. Gishmel would have been executed no matter what, Silverbrand would have gotten the dwarf and the orcs would not have interfered, but now you have ignited a war to burn these orcs and for what purpose ? They threaten the island ? Have they not fought alongside you against the Lichs and even more deadly monsters before that ?
You so quickly would turn your back on them for what reason ? You would say because they cannot threaten war, well that is what the dwarves of silverbrand have done and yet you side with the dwarves. The question I cannot answer is Why.

The orcs Alkuurg and Retlak attacked knights of the grey rose and also citizens of Silverbrand when those tried to catch Gishmel on the land of the Rose and Trolls Bane after he escaped again. With that they broke every treaty and caused again further troubles!
The orcs had enough chances. Again and again they were helping that bastard Gishmel. They attacked knights and dwarves in attemp to help that Gishmel. We didn't start this again, until the orcs attacked the members of the knighthood and our citizens
If they didn't want war they should have walked back to their lands and stayed away, instead of helping that dwarf.

Than they should have handled that at an other time, not right than when they were trying to capture Gishmel. The excuse they had an old payment with Alex is stupid and a lie, they just wanted to help Gishmel. The orcs could have done that any other time, not right when Gishmel was running away.

An old orc crosses the wall and sees the discussion of a war. He flexes his old, yet strong muscles and touches the handle of his axe that he recieved from an old friend, knowing it will be used once again, though maybe for the last time. His eyes drift away from the axe and back to the board where he posts a note, with an attempt to have correct grammar and spelling.
This orc feels bad that he must fight once again against his old friends, but he has loyalty to orcs over oomies. Me will be wherever the war carries me to.
He leaves, his head hidden behind a chainmail coif and helm, searching for his comrades and watching passer-bys with deep black eyes.

My view in this is that Pendar is siding beside the dwarves simply because they do a tremendously good job with their smithing. Scale through Pendars armor and unarm him from his sword, you would find a very fragile man. He needs the dwarves to make him new armor and different swords to stay alive in this battle, wich the orcs do not do. I am siding beside the orcs on this matter because the dwarves need to see that they cannot just insult people of other races without action.
Action will be taken, and the Flames will join the Horde on the battlefield.
I am sorry I could not attend with my warriors at any of your meetings, Gabon.. I've gotten things in the way all the time, but I might be willing to place a personal meeting just between you, me and my warriors that are still active.

Silverbrand is a town of smith and merchants. We are no warrior like the orc hoard. If enemys like the orcs threaten us we will defend us like smith and merchants.
But there are many mor reasons for this help. Like the behaviour of the orcs. When they caused fights in Trolls Bane or at the grey rose castle. When they believe they can threat everyone who want to bring justice to a criminal who is friend to the orcs.

Then I must also wonder is it impossible that friends extend a hand to aid each other where they can?
So if we as an island bow to this orcish army and let them take Ghorns head for an insult, then we shall stand by when the orcs decide that some one else has offended them? I am glad to see that the Why has been answered Pendar, the Why concerning you pushing this onto the orcs publically. The why is payment. I have known that greed and ambition has always been a character fault of yours Pendar, but I always ignored it because I thought the better parts of you would always shine through, and they always have up until this point.
Pendar you would go to war, you would at least push for it, for material goods. You say that this is to stop orc aggression, but why did it take Ghorn to buy you to his side that you would step in ? The orc aggression had stopped, they wanted a fair duel for Ghorn because Ghorn insulted their entire race. And when Ghorn declined and still insulted, the orcs accepted it and walked away. You, Pendar, reignited this tension.

and you should be better quiet. Didn't you take the ciminal, murderer and lich helper Arameh as one of your knights? That shows what a guy you really are. Someone who has trust in criminals, murderer and necromants!

As I have told you and everyone else, you were absent, your entire guard was absent from the town of trolls bane for about a month. During that time, no reconstruction efforts were made, no one kept the town safe. So yes, I took the lead of a town leaderless, I did this because as Athian and Eliza can vouch, when I asked if I should give materials to you concerning rebuilding Trolls Bane, you told me I could give it to the new captain of the guard. However there was no captain and you went away for too long and I had to act.
Yes I used Gishmel, and then I sent him to jail, and then I said I would help see him executed by Silverbrand. You have done nothing. As to the accusations of you being paid, Ghorn admitted it, read a few parchments above. It is no secret, you are doing this for money, and if not prove me wrong Pendar, please, tell Ghorn right now you do not want the depot and you are doing this because you morally think it is right.
Pendar, Caitlin's name is not yours, she was never married to you and I knew her before you. I know she would never have let you accept any payment for blood and you know it as well. So you can come and put me into the ground, I will defend her honor as it seems you will not.
