people sereously underrate child chars..
Adults who play children from about 13 years old most of the time , their chars act like 5 year olds alot of the time.
Not all but many do.
I mean ... wtf i'm 13 and i'm mature enough myself :p
And i guess illarion is a bit like our world and 13 year olds in that time in our world wold already be training a bit with weapons in that time i think.
^^
atleast thats what i think of it , give me your oppinion ^^

Well, I tried having a character like that, that acted exactly as she would have had to in the middle ages, and everyone insisted on rescuing her, being horrified that at 14 she was married, so meh.Narmir wrote:I think they need to lower their character's ages, because in the middle ages most girls would have been married off at that age and probably already with at least a child of their own >_>

The interesting thing is that nowhere is written down, that Illarion is setted in the middle ages of the real life. I hope i am right with this statement.
That would means, that we could separate us and form our own world with own social and physical laws. We could implement new races (lizard, elf, dwarf etc.), religions and magic and other things we have not in the real life!
Wow, i hope i am not the first with ideas like that. I am a heretic now?

Also, almost anything can be explained off as the influence of fantasy elements. Magical healing could prolong lifespans, and students of magic, being most learned, might have tempered the morality of mankind with their wisdom. Or maybe girls wait until their older to marry, holding out for handsome bearded and grey wizards, because they are mad sexy.
If the children of the specific human race get married at age 14 or younger in Illarion depends on the subrace, your human character is.
The Norodaj, the Serinjah/Ama-shoon, and the Albarians would be possible subraces for a character at age 14, that is married, while for the Gynkeesh, the chances are lower, and for Salkamaerians, the chance for such a marriage is lowest.
It is likely for Norodaj and Serinjah/Ama-shoon to be marriaged to a family member, or a close clan member.

That reminds me...When is the new lore and backgroundstory coming?Markous wrote:If the children of the specific human race get married at age 14 or younger in Illarion depends on the subrace, your human character is.

to come back at the post's subject,i think peoples have problems to evaluate how to act when they play young characters, ive seen char of 11 years old acting like adults,i know some peoples are more mature for their age but dont exagerate.Dont take it personally but for example Taylor Windslasher dont act his 11 years old at all,if i didnt knew his age by #me i would have said 30.

Oh my god! Get in the game then! I'm on almost every day, just usually at night (early morning in Europe). But I do get on during the day sometimes (Night in Europe).Kevin Lightdot wrote:ohh that means i must hurry up and marry Emily!
Just wait till she hears about it!
Example Reaction (Very likely she'll say this!)
Emily Thorowitz Tolong : I accept!
Emily Thorowitz Tolong giggles as she hugs Kevin.
Oh young love...
