Pretty light!!
The portal stood before the orc, a looming vortex of colour which dazzled the thick skulled creatures mind. What was this strange object, was it a treasure or was it one of the elfs who spent much time singing and dancing... Choices, choices
Running his tongue along his lips Fergesh hefted his large hammer onto his shoulder and thought upon the complex problem before him. If the pretty swirly thing was a treasure and he hit it would he break it. Or if it wasnt a treasure and it was an elf, surely it was mocking him and deserved to be bruised a bit.
Furrowing his brow Fergesh took the only option which any genius like himself would reach, with a low grunt Fergesh spoke.
' You be elf, if you elf Fergesh hit you '
The swirly thing didnt reply, so the answer became obvious, an elf it must be. Elfs are smart you see, so if the creature admited to being an elf, it couldnt be an elf as an elf wouldnt want to be hit. But in denying its an elf surely it must be an elf.
A satisfied smile crosses the orcs lips as he gets a grip upon the granite like maul in his hands. He had outsmarted an elf, surely he should be a shamen.
Taking a few steps back Fergesh raises the maul above his head and shuffles his feet. This was going to be painfull, stupid elf.
Shouting a cry to the war god Fergesh charged towards the object swinging his maul down in a vicious stroke. When he connected with air he was most suprised, and when he went hurtling through the portal he was confounded. Sprawling to the ground his hammer flying from his grip the orc shook his head and looked about himself.
Where did these tree's come from, and what had happned to the town.. There could only be one answer.. The damn long ear had magicked him....
Getting to his feet Fergesh looked about himself.
He would get this damn long ear...
