Where do I go to find quests?
Is there a place where you go to find quests and if so where? also how do I use things, because nothing seems to respond when I use things, I shift-click on the object then on my avatar and nothing happens, also how do I Whisper, because I also press #w before my sentance but everyone still seems able to hear it, and NPC's don't respond to me ether.

There isn't something like that yet. Single quests will come with the new client, I believe, or so I heard. However, I think you might want to search for a certain orc npc to North in the case your character is a warrior. I think he is the only quest-giving-npc until now.
There are many ways to use items, depending on what you want. Potions, for example, you just shift click it - no need to shift click your avatr too. There are some topics about it, mainly crafting, I guess this can help you better then me. Just have a look on the General Noard or this one and you will find very helpfull tips.
Whisper. You have to write the "#w" before your message. People near to you will hear: two squares on vertical and horizontal away, and one square on diagonal.
For example:
#w Can you hear me?
It should come out like this:
Someone: (w) Can you hear me?
While speaking to NPCs try to use keywords he used himself. This is the trick.
Hope I could help you a bit.
