a message hung up at the tavern

Post by Kevin Lightdot »

I am growing sick of this!
The guards and Knights or well known fighters get all the goodies and honor
and what do we get? We the ones who without they dint stand a chance at all
We get pain ... and more pain.

We can supply you with all the pain you need.

A simple orcish mark signs the parchment.

The gaurds and knights fight for you and die for you. Your greed for items from corpses is wrong, accept what you have and you will be far happyier.

Good deeds and helpfulness - not seen by humanity - is seen by the gods, my friend.

I do understand your craving though. When wounded, and not only physically, you wonder yourself why you are fighting for. Why don't you get rewarded for what you have done. I think many people do experience this feeling but I ask you...
what is fame and honour worth for, when you get a smile from the person you just helped instead?

From the bottom of my heart, Kevin, I do thank you. I don't thank you for the pain that you burden yourself with, but I thank you for every smile you casted on a creature's face due to it. I often hear that we can't change the world into a better place, yet I know that this is wrong. For every time you make someone happy, you are changing the world to something better, even when it just last a second.

Don't give up, Kevin Lightdot, then in the end of all the gods will look upon you and for every of your good deeds, you will get rewarded in the eternal lands.

Thankfully,

If everyone in this world were thanked for the deeds that unselfishly make, we'd be having a few too many ego full knights running around, and if the elites weren't unbearable, then it would be
