speaking of lame what is this about people having mutliple chars. I mean isn't this the lamest nonroleplaying thing there is. I mean splitpersonality my ass. Thi is only a lameass way of being able to do everything yopurself and not have to depend on others. Like being a druid might be considered not so good since you will not have the spells. But you make a new char being a druid only to make yourself potions. I think this has gotta stop.

Thats true. using a 2nd character to gain advantages (money, potions...) for another destroys player interaction. Roleplaying can only happen, when you interact with other players. One key event for the start of such interaction is business with other characters, which is avoided with a 2nd character.
But there is another class of 2nd characters: Some people may create one for roleplaying reasons to initiate an event.
I use another character too, because if I log in with Bror, I can't walk one screen without many people appearing, that want to talk to me - bad, when I just log in to check a bug.

Well, i too have a second char, but i do not get potions from him. Well, one time i did, but i paid him hehe... did business with myself. WITH the risk of the stuff getting lost by rotting. That were the times when not that many people were on. And my other char does not only exist for making potions, most persons do not know that we are the same. And will not easily find out. Hehe, he has an own board person, too, not that much active perhaps, but he has :) Oh well i talk of him as a he. Perhaps he wants to say a word, too ;) No ? Come on pal. No, he doesn't want :)

I myself have 3 characters. My first I dedicated alot of time of course, the second I wanted a totally opposit character just to see how it worked and I admit I used the other character to help, but that was just an experiment. My final character "this one" I have brought up from nothing with no help at all I am proud to say. Multi characters isn't a bad thing "as long as they don't take info known only to other character or items"  then it's like a diffrent person if you roleplay it well. Also I have a fighter, a mage and a civilian.. so I see nothing wrong.
