The seal of the Grey Rose
((open for everyone but remember that it is inside the grey rose castle and not everyone is able to pass the guards.))
"Damn, it is freezing. I hate the cold time of the year especially when I have to spend it out of the warm tavern." mutters Lahela, as she walks from Troll's Bane towards the Grey Refuge.
She takes out an apple and takes a big bite but spits it out immediatly and throws the apple away. "Too cold. Bah!" She pulls her cloak closer around her shoulder and keeps walking, silently mutterings to herself about the cold and the stupidity of her planned action.
As she arrives the Grey Refuge she smiles friendly at the guards and changes some words with them. First they don't want to let her in but in the end she can convince them to let her pass. Lennier allowed it her once to stay here and promised her also the protection of the kinghts. "Good thing I did that!" It wasn't easy for her to ask Lennier but in the end it will serve her very well.
She walks quietly through the hall, where she greets Sam and through the workshop towards the room she stayed in once.
She stops infront of the door and listens if she hears any noises inside and slipes quietly into the room. She blinks and looks around. It didn't change much and it seems that no one is staying here right now. "Lucky for me." She leans against the door and takes a deep breath. "Now. Where could Lenniers room be? Shall I ask someone?" She makes a face and tries to concentrate on it. In what direction did he turn in the night?
She closes her eyes and tries to remember it but it won't come to her mind. "Dammit!" She curses quietly and opens the door again. She looks if someone is near and slips out of the room again "Now, pull yourself together. It's not a big deal and it is for Thomas. Now. Com'on."
She walks towards the library and peaks in, but she can only see one person inside who seems to be deeply in thought and with a big book infront of him on the table.
She takes a step towards the person and clears her throat. "Excuse me, where could I possibly find Lennier? Is he in his room?" She fumbles nervously on her cloak as she speaks and waits for a reply but the man doesn't seem to hear her at all. She shrugs and leaves the library. "I have to ask someone else or just find it myself."
She slowly walks around the castle, hoping that no one sees her but also looking for someone she could ask.

Ugarte sits in the Shop his feet resting upon the table as he often does. To any person who enters the shop he Greets them with a "You seen Lahlea? to which the response is allways no.
Several hours pass and he begins to mutter to himself, although rather loudly
Where is that damn Girl? Does it take that long to scribble down a note? She'd better hurry, Being stuck in Trollsbane is attrocious, gaurd running about left and right saying all sorts of non-sense. Could have gotten it Done in Raseir.
He sits for a few more hours before standing, not angry yet. He slowly walks out of the shop, before leaving he speaks to Eliza You see that Lahela tell her to get that note to me, Signore says its more urgent then we thought. She'll understand.
Eliza mutters a few things about not being a messenger and continues speaking and selling her wares.
Ugarte then makes his way to the inn, Checking down the different streets as he crosses them. When at the inn he searches through a few of Thomas' documents for he stays in his room and find something which he quickly pockets. He steps out the inn, looks around then returns to his room for rest.

Marius walks slowly and thinking throw the castle towards his room. Suddenly he notice the unknown person that was right in front of him.
"A little late for a visit", he thought.
He tries to see, who the person is, but i failed because the darkness of the night and the dark light, spended by some torches, in the castle.
Greetings, stranger. Did you lost your way?, say in a clear voice to the person.

"Greetings Sir, I'm looking for Lennier, the earl that is. Could you tell me where I can find him? Is it possible that he is in his room?" she answers. After a few seconds she adds: "I'm a little lost. This castle is too big for me." and smiles friendly but cursing silently to herself.
Lahela sweaps some strands of hair out of her face and hopes that the stranger won't ask for her business with Lennier. She quickly tries to think of a believable lie and looks at the man curiously. She clears her throat and continous to talk. "I'm Lahela by the way. Len- umm the earl allowed me to stay here for a while." She presses the lips together and nods to support her words.
"When I survive that I'll do something good. I promise." She thinks to herself and is rather not believing herself. "I'll be friendly to Athian once or something like that. I just need this damn seal."
She shifts her weight from one foot to the other and waits patiently for a reply.

"I'm sure, Lennier is in his room. Eighter sleeping or working. In eighter case, you shouldn't disrupt him, at this time.", he says and looks out of the window at the end of the floor, "its late at night", he added. "Really strange time for a visit...", he thinks again.
"You better wait until tomorrow. You can stay in the castle of cause. The sleeping room is down the stairs at the end of the floor at the right side. I'm sure you can speak to Lennier tomorrow."
Marius nods to the stairs while he is speaking.

Lahela curses quietly but pulls herself together and looks at the man again "It is really important. I won't disturb him for long I promise. Could you show me the way to his room?"
She again fumbles nervously on her cape and tries to smile at him confident. "Please..?"
"I hope that is the unusual type of man, who isn't in for women." She thinks nervously but keeps smiling. "If it weren't that important, don't you think I would disturb him now?" She looks at him with her light green eyes and tries to read his thoughts in his face."I need to get to Lenniers room. This guy is annoying me already. Why can't he just get lost!" She think furiously to herself.

((Translation:))
Lennier sits on a high stool in his chamber, in front to a letter pulpit. He writes enthusiasticly upon a paper. After blowing the ink dry he folds it carefully to a letter and puts the name of the reciver 'Lahela' on it.
He then opens a little box at the side of the pulpit with assorted items inside it, among the required tools to make a letter seal. He takes a candle, a little metal shell covered with old wax and smut and a Grey Rose stamp. He searches around the little box and emptys its contents and sees nothing but Writing materials, serval coal pencils and some few knubs, which are missed by any old clothes. The halfling grumbles "Nothing but junk, no sealing wax in here."
He hurridly leaves his chamber and looks out in the hall. He hears foot steps but can not seem to find anyone and thus he continues his walk.
When he arrives the store room he get opened the door by a guard. For serval minutes he searchs there for new sealing wax.
((I probably translated a few things incorrectly but thats about what it means. I figured I would lighten your work load Lennier and I desperatly need the practice))

"Thank you, Sir" she turns and catchs up wih alking next to him "May I ask who you are? It would be only fair since you already know my name."
She folds her hands behind her back and grins to herself "Seems like everything will be just fine. I just hope Lennier is not there ... pah even if he is, at least I know than where is room is."
As they reach the door of Lennier's room, she pauses irresolute and looks at Marius. "This is it I suppose. Thank you again"

"Indeed, this is the room.", says Marius and knocks at the door. "Lennier? You have an visitor"
Marius waits a few moments in front of the door.
"Hmm..."
Marius opens the door and looks inside.
"He is not around. But he was around a few moment ago...", says Marius while he points at the burning candle. Then he looks at the table and at the letter, Lennier has written.
"What was your name? Lahela? There is a letter for you."
Marius went in the room and stand right next to the table. The letter and the seal lies on the table.

"Yes. Lahela it is." She looks around the room and rests her gaze on the letter and the seal next to it. "I better wait 'til he's back. I don't feel good by just taking the letter. I won't keep you though. I will just wait here for Lennier to return if that is alright with you."
She presses the lips together and manages to smile at him. "Don't worry...and you still didn't answer my question. What might be your name, hm?"

She waits a few moments and loocks at him. "You're not very social hm? Don't worry, happens sometimes."
She gestures to the door for him to leave "I'll wait here for Lennier and you can go if you like to. I can see that you're not enjoying my company, so I'll release you."
She enters the room and sits down on the stool where Lennier sat on before. She looks wondering at the letter "What is it he's writing me? Weird, didn't think he'll remember me too long." She folds her hands in her lap and looks around the room "Just like I imaged it" she thinks and smirks amused.

She smirks as she sees Lennier enter "Greetings Lennier, or should I say my dear earl?" She stands up and gestures to Lennier so sit down again "I didn't mean to intrude in your privacy but this nice young man brought me to your room as I asked him. I wanted to talk to you about something" She smiles and moves closer to the table but away from the stool. "I hope you have some time for me?"
She picks up the letter with her name on it "May I? Or is it something you do not wish me to read while I'm here?" She strokes over the parchment and looks questioningly at Lennier.
"Dear Ronagan, how am I supposed to finish my task now, hm? I think I'm getting sick."

"As luck would have it." he begins to speak as he graps for the letter at the table. "I want to warn you. A human watchs for you in the town." Lennier continues after he breaks the letter in his hands. "I was send you a message to come to me. But now it is solved, you are here."
The halfling turns around himself and searchs for something in a bookshelf behind of Lahela. It seems hundrets of parchments and notices lie there, lots of them without to be read since years. "Let me take a look. I have some notes here, anywhere ... Äh, what is your reason for your visit?"

When Lennier turns around Lahela fumbles for the seal on the table. She graps it and slips it in her cloak. Meanwhile she answers Lenniers question: "Oh yes, well Ugarte found me already. He's a friend of Thomas. No need to worry, he's alright." she smiles vaguely and continues "I - wanted to talk about Alexander. He's a fine man and his wish is to join the knighthood. Did he already talk to you?"
She rolls her eyes about her own dullness that she didn't think of something before and now talks about something that is just plain dumb. She hopes that he won't notice that the seal is gone from his table and takes a step towards the door. She turns around again and awaits Lenniers answer, even though she already knows what he's going to say.
"Yes, he talked to me already. He is now a servant of the Grey Rose." She immitates Lennier in her thoughts and smirks slightly.

Lennier answers as he still searchs for the right parchment "Oh, yes. Alexander is a good man. And since some days he is a servant of us." He has no luck and turns around to Lahela, when he listen her movements. "I can not find it." He starts with his topic again. "But, yes i believe his name was Ugarte. A strange man if i remind me right. You should be carefull." After this he turns to his table and takes a prepared letter from a bottom drawer.
"Maybe i should sign an official permission, so you can find protection here." The halfling wents back to her. "I wonder, why the guards let you pass without to inform me?"

Lahela watches Lennier's movement closely. "Oh you know, the guards are very helpfull sometimes. I told them I wish to talk to you and they let me pass with some difficulties though. I hope you're not angry now."
She taps her nose nervously but when she actually realises it, she crosses her arms infront of her chest and tries to look calmly at Lennier.
"Ugarte won't do anything to harm me. He knows that I have protective friends and still he's a friend of Thomas and knows about us. I will be fine and I don't think I need the protection of the Rose."
She turns to the door but then decides different and turns back to Lennier. "I'm glad to hear that Alexander found a spot here. I should talk to him again and congratulate him. He's one step closer to fulfil his dream I suppose. But I should leave you now, you seem to be tired and I have to admit I feel a little exhausted myself."

"Oh, wait a moment. In case you need it, i only have to sign this paper." Lennier turns back to his table.
A moment later it seems he looks confused in search for something. "Where i have it?" he asks himself and grumbles. "Did you saw a stamp here?" The halfling turns around for some seconds and searchs at the ground. "Propably fallen down?" ... Hrmm, i can not find it.
The Earl turns back to Lahela "But, no problem. Maybe i am really tired. Noone would knows where i place my head, if i could put him anywhere." He looks at her with a smile and turns to the table again. There he opens the little chest and takes an second stamp and prepares his seal for Lahelas permission.

Lahela holds her breath when Lennier looks for the seal which is still hidden in der cloak. She slips her hand in it and feels for it. She closes her hand tight around it and watches Lennier closely. She smiles when he looks at her and sighs in relieve when he takes out another seal to seal the paper.
"Thank you Lennier, you're too good to me." she says honestly and smiles. "But I should really go now. I don't want to keep you any longer."

She smiles at him "No, as I said, I'm just tired. It was a hard and exhausting day for me."
She follows him and turns the way she came from when Marius lead her the way to Lenniers room. Over her shoulder she looks at Lennier and says: "I'll find the way out, don't let me keep you from your warm bed."
She than walks away quickly and hopes that she'll leave the castle alive and with the seal.

A few days Later Lahela gets word that the seal worked for Thomas was freed. Ugarte then walked her to the docks for he was also leaving on the same boat that Thomas returned on, he said a few warm words, weather he actually meant them or not is debatable.
When arriving at the Docks Thomas steps slowly off the boat and simply smiles as if no words were necessary. After hugging Lahela he finnaly says "I've missed you". They hold the embrace and converse with Ugarte until he boards the boats that will head for Trollsbane.

After a few Days of resting in the inn and clear up a few small matters Thomas gets word that it is time to return to Rasier to finsh up his bussiness with the Sultans Daughter.
A few days after the message arrives they depart for Shapier, upon the boat they meet Ugarte who is far more pleasant to Lahela this time, though the reason has not yet been revealed.
After a long boat ride they arrive in a port Near Shapier where Ugarte leaves them on a Caravan for Rasier. Upon entering the city they are greeted by a plethora of Merchants each with various goods that range from everything to fine silks to carved wooden figures. Entering the inn they meet a strange gentleman who welcomes them to the inn and tells them it will cost 50 Dinars a night. Realizing they have yet to exchange their money they follow the maze like streets of Shapier they arrive to a street end with a small window with a Woman in there who greets them. Thomas makes a strange gesture with his hand she grins and lowers the exchange rate and tells them there will be no Exchange fee. Thomas smirks as they walk back to the inn, He later describes it Lahela as 'Shes Dinarzad's sister...Thats 'our' sign' Slowly they make there way through the dark labrynth that makes up the streets of Shapier and finnaly reach the southern plaza where they rent a room.
After sitting in their room for about an hour word arrives that Ja'afar has arrived to see 'Thomas' He Gives Lahela a gentle kiss and says
"Your welcome to stay here and listen to us, but I think exploring the city should be much more enjoyable."
He pulls out a few Dinars to give to her if she decides to explore Shapier.

"I think I will do so but I won't be gone too long, I'll just have a quick look of what is going on."
She takes the dinars and places them in her pocket, gives him a last kiss and leaves the room, as well as the inn shortly after it.
She looks down the street to decide which way to take and decides to leave to the right.
She walks down the street slowly and looks around the buildings and the people. She notices that she must look weird to those who live here. With her red hair, her green eyes, her rather pale skin and her clothes, she looks different from everyone around here.
She stops infront of a small stand with clothes, which the people wear in Shapier. The lady behing it looks at Lahela awkwardly and ask:
"Wha' do ya wan'?" Lahela tilts her head, frowns and says "I'm just looking around. I'm looking for some cloths to wear so that I fit it better. Is it possible?"
"Ge' lost if ya will" Lahela smirks "Fine" and continues her way.

Thomas Turns to the table, one of the waitress' come to the table and ask if there is any desire for meals or drinks. Ja'afar orders a meal while Thomas orders a rum.
He takes a sip and snaps his fingers rembering something
I forgot to give her a Map, These streets are such a mess.
Ja'afar shrugs And takes a bite of his meal
"She'll find her way back I'm sure...So what is it you require?"
Ahh Yes...If you recall I was in prison on charges of kid-napping the Sultans daughter, you said youmay know where she is...?
Thomas asks quizically
"Yeah, Shes here with a Fellow named Romlin, Couldn't tell you where she's at...Romlin runs a smithery in the western Plaza though, you could talk to him. When he's not there he's at the Fountain in the central plaza chatting with the owner of the Alchemist shop...their a bit chummy"
Thomas smirks and the two contiune to talk about bussiness in both Rasier and Shapier, discussing mianly the ruined state of Rasier in comparrison to Shapier which was a bustling Desert Metropolis.
It is not long before Lahela Returns, Ja'afar Smiles to her, and says Farewell, she takes his seat at the table and they each order a meal.
"Buy anything interesting?

"Well I tried but the people of Shapier do not seem to want to sell something to someone who's not from here." She says and smirks amused. She flips a Dinar and catches it again while waiting for her meal and drink.
"They basically told me to get lost, some called me witch or easy woman" She shrugs "Something about that." She leans forward and kisses him.
"But as you may know, I don't really care. I had my fun with them. But how about you? Any news of that daughter of the Sultan?"
She leans back in her chair when the maid arrives to bring them their meal. When she's gone again Lahela begins to eat as if she haven't ate for two weeks. "This is good"

Thomas smiles
"Well I'm certianly glad your enjoying it, The Heros tale inn is a nice establishment...Far better than the Blue Parrot in Rasier, so don't get used to it"
He winks at her.
The shops are probably just hastling you because your a foriegner, I've found the central plaza to be a bit more friendly...Also you should flash a bit of money, usually changes peoples attitude"
He smirks and takes a few small bites of his own food and a drink of his rum.
As for the Sultans daughter we'll, unless you don't want to, probably have to go on a hunt for her tommorow, I've got a good idea where she probably is.
He smiles and looks at her silent for a short moment, obviously content, then takes a few bites of his food and reclines in his chair. "Maybe we'll play some darts tonight---" He says to Lahela but is interupted by the eveings entertainment which is A woman named Sheema dancing followed by some philosipher reading poetry. The two of them sit and enjoy the festivites which end at around midnight when the head for their room.
Thomas is obviously rather tired for he falls alseep almost immediatly after muttering a quiet "I love you" to Lahela. The Next morning however when Lahela wakes he is in the lobby discussing something to a rather shady character, when Lahela comes out he says
I hope you've slept well, Quite the day today, I've already ordered you this mornings meal, hope you don't mind
The man Thomas was speaking with nods says a few Farewells and leaevs the Inn saying he is going to Rasier.

"Yes my night was pleasent but it is hot here, even in the night. That is all that was disturbing my sleep. But as I told you before I can almost sleep everywhere." She says while she sits down and waits for the breakfast Thomas ordered for her.
"The Sultan's daughter is here? So she just run away to be together with some bastard or poor man..whatever he is? That's interesting, never heard about a similar ase before where someone flees from his or her rich home." She shrugs and eats her breakfast which a maid just brought her.
"When we finished that, are we going to Rasier to your dad and Ugarte and all the other ones? I still don't know how to play darts." she winks with a broad smile and enjoys her meal.
Afterwards she takes her bag, with some of her belongings and both of them leave the inn to find the Sultans daughter.
