shed of tears
Caitlin kneed on the floor beside Pendars bed and cried. Holding his hand she wept and wept til her eyes held no single tear anymore.
She had done something today which she never even dreamed of and everything that was left in her was a pile of shards and a paining heart in her chest.
Her whole world was breaking down.
She looked at the sleeping, badly injured man and if she were able to shed some more tears she would have. Instead she stood slowly, watching that her weak knees didn’t give away under her.
Her reddened eyes lingered a long on the man she loves so dearly before she turned slowly to write a small note on a parchment, leaving it on the pillow.
“To my dearest and to my wonderful daughter,
I hope you d… ((pm)) ”
Quietly the lady with the pitch black hair and ravenlike eyes pulled her greygreen robe over her, took the old and knobbly druid staff and slowly picked Caden from his cradle. Hesitatingly she opens the door to the room and leaves seahorse and also Trolls Bane through the west gate, heading to the forest.
“I have someone to see… “, she whispered. “ …I should go back where I belong to.”

Rhiannon wakes up, her eyes falling at once to her adopted father, sleeping deeply his breathing somewhat labored from the wounds he suffered.
'I hate you, Anither,' she mutters in a low voice, a voice that should not belong to such a child...
'I hate you so much, you've been betraying me my whole life'
She sits up, her hand falling to a piece of paper near her pillow. She unfolds it and begins to read it...
'Mommy,' she whispers, 'what's wrong?'
The girl reads the note again and nods once, with finality
'I will. I will take care of him. I am the one that brought Anither into his life, and so I will stay here until it is all over'
