RPing sleep
Okey this really pissed me and i wish for a gm to reset my skills and such.....
I was RPing sleep and i though Sylathen and Stephen Rothman was watching over me from time to time.. As i saw in the character logg someone was screaming and then talked to my ghost to get revived. I myself was SLEEPING IRL Since my char just got her ribbs broken and such she was resting at a bed at the INN AND WAKES UP DEAD!!! I do not even have a single language skill anymore, NOT EVEN A BLACK ONE!!! Thank you, the one who did this, now i must reset my char and re-create it. Thank you. REALLY MUCH!!!!
*sighs and goes through all the trouble with making a new char*

Yes, but he had no reason for killing me is it was a GM, He could have atleast ASKED IF i was just RPing the sleep or i was actually there!! My character have 5 in constitution and a somewhat strong person without skills could have walked in, hit me once, turned me into a cloud and just walked away with my items. Is that fun or even RP? NO!!! ITS PLAYERKILLING! Notce this people, we got a PKer IG, check this up for christs sake.. *Siiiigh*

Please send me details (PM). I need date, time (CET if possible, GMT also works) and the character's number and name. The log of your char would also help, we can look this up if you didn't save it.
One hint: Never leave your char unattended. There is always the chance of a random monster encounter.

Well leaving your pc turned on all night while you're not next to it... uhm doesn't sound smart to me. Also it could, as already mentioned, look like you're idle on purpose, doing something else, then return to learn more skills after you've "rested" this way.
I don't think that's accepted behaviour.
On the other hand you, instead of being murdered with no roleplay intention whatsover, should have been forwarded to talk to a GM or something. As I said I don't think it's accepted behaviour to leave your Char online while doing something else, but I guess a Gamemaster knows more about it.
But simply killing the character for being "away from keyboard" (as this looks like) is no solution either.
This game isn't Tibia and there are other ways to check and punish someone.
The one who killed you should be punished aswell, as to you... I'm sorry about your loss but now you've learned what can happen if you let your Character stand around somewhere without watching... sadly the hard way.
@Moathia
Additionally I think they can even trace who attacked and killed whom, directly, helpful in a situation as this one as it is nothing but plain playerkilling which occured here, IMHO.

I would like to really thank you the one who killed me. Now i will have to re-create my own character since i cannot have a conversation in common or even talk OOC in any language anymore.... All i see is *********** *************

If you are Rping to sleep, you should ALWAYS sit in front of your puter, or at least have an eye on the screen. Everytime when someone new passes by, you had to type : #me sleeps / snores / does... while sleeping/dreaming... whatever.
And : If YOU are sleeping, someone can poke you, tickle you, shout at you - and you would awake.
If your character does not react to anything, and is standing around totally idle for hours, it's your own fault. He won't react to tickling and kicking or attacking if you're away. Like a statue, not like a sleeper. That's not in the sense of the game, nor in the sense of RP.
Of course it's different if you accidentally have to leave for 10 minutes or so, when it's unfitting to leave at the moment, during talks or whatever.
Sometimes, GMs will seek idle players, trying to contact them, waiting a bit, waiting a bit more, and then place a small monster beside it to look how long it takes until it has eaten away the armor. Remember that.

I see your point, mister damien, but in my character logg i didnt even see anyone trying to contact me nor even explaining why she/he/it killed me. That is just pure bad RP. He didnt even ask for forgiveness for killing me. I believe with an constitution of 3, if a person have str over 15 and uses a ornament dagger, i would be dead in one blow. Is that fun? Noooo. What if you, just had your ribbs broken back (talking about character ;p) to place, fainted by the pain, been forced to drink wine topless in front of an elven pirate and your 'father' , wouldn't you want to sleep for a bit?? Just pure, deep sleep. When i got into that bed My 'father' (not naming names) and a lizard was watching over me.
I think bad roleplay was met with bad roleplay. As far as I know your language skills were returned.
You were idle, "roleplaying" sleep. I don't care how many times you protest it, but that's just ridiculous. Log off. What was your motivation to stay online? No matter how many times I try to comprehend it, it just doesn't make sense. What was the point of leaving Illarion running, if you weren't going to interact with it.
Leaving your character like that is an invite for troublemakers. You can roleplay your very deep sleep without any interaction or thought on your part, so I think it's quite fair that the player-killer can roleplay their murder of you without any interaction or thought.

I agree with Japheth. When you want to RP sleep, then you should write something like "#me is sleeping deeply" when someone enters. THIS is RP. Going away from the computer (for sleeping) while you are still ingame is just stupid. When someone enters and wants to RP with you and tries to wake your char up and you doesn't react, then its no RP from your side.
But I also have to agree that the player who killed you made a very bad RP aswell
