When i try to make my character it always says Der gesuchte Charakter wurde nicht gefunden. Bitte überprüfe den Namen und das Passwort when i accept!What does that mean?

*laughs*. First of all, if you're not already viewing the English version of the Illarion website, it might be a good idea to find it and use it instead of the German version .

However, if you're already using the English version (since I could be wrong), the translation for that is basically, "The character you have searched for was not be found. Please check your name and password."

You need to tell if you've created an account already. That's the first step. It can be found here if you need it: https://illarion.org/accountsystem/inde ... newaccount

Post here again if you've already done that, or once you've finished. The name can be anything, not necessarily of any characters (just an account name). The password should be around 8 characters long, as it says.

well then where do i make my FIRST character?

You should have answered some stories and questions, and if that gets accepted then you can create a character, then the character name has to be accepted, then you have to distribute the stats, THEN you can play.

Log into your account. Inside, there should be at least two important links. One says Create new Character, and the other says Add old Character. Click the first one that says Create.

Once you click here, there should be slots for you to fill in your character's name*, gender, race, and a short description of that character. Fill this information in, and the next step will simply be to wait until the name is accepted. This shouldn't take more than 2 or 3 days at the most.

*Important about names: Please please PLEASE read the Name Rules before you put in a name! And please put a name that would be appropriate for the race you select.

And yes, as Quinasa said above. The Newbie forum is already chock full of answers to most beginner questions .

Maybe they should rename it the Questions forum. It's just mean to lump them all as n00bs. No wonder they post in other forums, they're probably too ashamed to admit to being a n00b.
