Its the name of their castle, which is not the Grey Rose castle. Since also the grey light helped build it! Case closed. *puffs on an imaginary pipe* Also, THE MAP LOOKS AWSOME GJ TO WHO MADE IT!Pronon Palmsuger wrote:Whats with "Grey Haven" I never knew that existed. Unless its the Grey Rose castle, which would make alot of sense.

The map is really great and looks wonderful ....
but the location named "Hug of Sirani" was in the past mostly a place, where a Zelphia temple was located, which does make sense with all the water around the statue in the middle.
And the north-western landscape wasn't ever in connection with Zelphia as far as I remember ingame history. There took place long ago a quest about the maid turned to stone and it was also a hiding place in different situations. Maybe it would better fit to Ronagan.

Some few places like the 'Hug of Sirani' and the 'Place of Zelphia' are named by me. I used the knowledge of my chars. The "wrong" stories were told me by some EX-GMs some years ago
But i really like the map, the mistakes included *g*
@Grey Haven. In german the castle is called 'Graue Zuflucht'. For a long time there was no english name for this. Some people use 'Grey Haven' and 'Grey Refuge'. 'Castle of the Grey Rose' is a big mistake. Maybe the Grey Light should be more active, to show, that they also are inhabitants of the castle.

Even the spelling does not need to change. The "unchanged" map looks better (Letter position, they're a bit rotated the spelling correction looks dumb)
We can just take it as it is, and use it as it is. And simply ignore the few errors. Same for the name, let's just use the map one =)
I LOVE that map !

Thanks for all the compliments
The original map is A3 (42x29,7cm), standard paper, black and red marker, later edited in Photoshop:

For those of you who wish to print the map, a larger file in A4-resolution:

And for those of you who, for some reason, need the whole thing in A3 resolution, contact me: duath@gmx.de.
