It is amazing to me that merchants to buy anything more then they sell. Mugush for instance would prehaps be interested in some raw materials to craft into vials and such. Sam would want object heads and handles to make tools with, and everything would be interested in their favorite foods.
Eliza could buy fish, mugush sam and the orc could buy cooked pork, and the dwarfs could buy pies (i dont remember were but i read dwarfs like pies).
This would add a bit of realism to the game and also introduce some more cash flow into the 'other task' work forces.
Buy, not sell.

Problem with that is simply put it is to easy on old client Eliza use to buy swords and daggers from the undead. I could make an ingot in no time, now even if sam bought sand or coal. It is nothing to collect 200 of an resource.
Simply put it places to much money into the market currently money is hard to make at the same time I like the rp of it. People actually want to be employed.
What i hear is in the works is merchants buying more begging craft items allowing even non master crafters to make a living.
Currently money can be made one just has to use a little perseverance some clever rp and being willing to work a little.
I really like things the way they are and once we have a few more oppurtunitys such as a smith being able to sell basic blades or sickle handles. There will be more employment for resource gatherers as well.
The fact one cant make money with out rp interaction is awesome i believe.
