Char moved...

Post by Strokend »

Alright. Usually (If not all the time, lately just about ALL the time for this this happens) I'm near the cherry tree, just one square south or east of it, and then my char is moved northeast. It will keep doing that every once in a while, so I have to log off and back in. Was Sha'larkt (I think that was their name), the lizard, being west of the tree part of the problem, by chance?
Also, it will mess up my map, because I still see everything as being in the same spot on the map, but if I move, the map will then be changed to the newer position, causing a 'shift' in it. Sometimes the objects still show in the same spot, except the cross, which is moved southwest.

The cross is technically an NPC... so it will not really be affected by the shift... personally i have never encountered this problem

I found it happens when it try to open my backpack through right clicking my belt inventory squares. If I right click the bag, it won't happen.

This is an eon old bug. Just relog as you did. The map is easily repaired by walking the area again.

Just don't right click the squares, nothing accually moves technically, its just your computer displays them incorrectly.

actually, they don't appear to move, except players and npcs. If I exit and return, my char WAS moved northeast.
