Illarion Website - how come we get no fancy scrollbar?

I was just looking at the website in german (not that i can understand very much), and i noticed that at the side of the screen, there is as nice useful scrollbar. Then back in the english, and i see no fancy scrollbar, so us english people must highlight the text to scroll (or is it just my computer?). How come?

Hmm, you're right, the scrollbar does not appear in the english version.

I have a scrollbar in both versions (I use MS Internet Explorer 5).

Strange. I use it, too.
I guess it depends on your screen solution ? In 1024*768 you can still see half of the last line on the english Version, if you open the longest menue. I use IE5.5 too.

Oh sorry i thought he mean the scrollbar on the Main page.
I have set my resolution down and see now what you mean.
It seems that you need a minimum resolution of 800*600 (This is the standart resolution for websites) to see the whole menu.

1280 X 1024 is ALWAYS good

That's what I use some times anyways...

I have IE 6, 600x600 res. The scrollbar on the german version works, just the english doesn't.

I have the latest IE 6.0 and am running at 1024*780 (or something like that) and I also have no scroll bars. Why would you complain about such a petty thing anyway?

using a scroll mouse may help? I'm not sure since it's been a long time since I last use a res that's lower then 1024X768.

I can see it in the german site, but not english, so it must be programmed differently does it not? And a scroll mouse scrolls on the actual page, not the sidebar.

pressin f11 solves it for me.... but I am normally on the german sight learning valueble military secrets hi hi hi hi joking!
