smithing/carpenter - its wont go up

lately i have worked on my smithing and carpentry but it hasnt gone up an inch... today, i decided to start carpentry... i spent about an hour chopping down wood, and carpentering the same staff and shield... just to find out i still dont have carpentry skills!!! its about the same with smithing (except my smith is already really high)...i hope i dont experience this with combat skills

I am Master smith and 2nd level carpentary and it works best!where's the matter?and Haror,try with bolts,and windarrows!it's the mixture ;D

i think ive made a discovery...every time a lot of people are on my skills seem to not move at all...but when less than 10 are on...it's fine

I have taken a whole lot of ore and coal and made axes to sell, and i have not noticed any problems. It goes up slowly, but that is because i am near max in it. But i dont really care for the skill, just the money

I havent gon upp a level in smithing and i made 34 items and i didnt go upp a bit

34 items is nothing =) lol
it took me about 300 hundred axes to get to the last lvl just from the second last lvl! =)

heh im lucky took me only 150 daggers ,helmets,maces,and shields and 150 long axes to get me to master smith :biggrin:

im in first level and my line havent changed a bit and ive made about 50 items
