Aristeaus enters the dimly lit room and slowly sits beside a bed which a young elfess lies within. With gentle hands he strokes the ladies brow and smiles down to her.
‘ Hello my love ‘
The elfess smiles and takes his hand in hers.
For the past days in which the man Aristeaus had been back from his travel to the scholars isle he had been tending to the lady Quinasa, patiently wiping her brow when fever was upon her and preparing and administering various potions, he had sat at her side with the unwavering patience of a man whom no longer slept. The potions and the care which the man gave to the woman continued to till the day he had been waiting for, her fever broke and she slept untroubled.

Most of her memories of the last few weeks were addled and mismatched. Pieces were missing that made Quin's head spin when she tried to figure out where she'd been. Her days and nights were plagued by fever and nightmares she couldn't voice upon waking. Her only comfort was the constant and unerring ministrations of her husband, his soft words and gentle hands. She lost count of the potions she was fed, always something new and always something else. Her progress was slow and when her fever broke her head began to clear.
Through the following days her husband barely left her side and slept little. His presence was reassuring but the lack of rest was taking its toll on him and it did not go unnoticed in her eyes. With all her will Quinasa tried every day, she ate and exersized though it pained her greatly to do both. When she could see that her progress was easing the distress in her husband's appearance and so she pushed herself harder.
