Aren't we missing one river? I might have just... overlooked it. But didn't the town "spring up" around the river in the first place, as well as get its name from it? I am going to go check, if the river is there and I've just overlooked it, laugh at me, but I seriously didn't see it.
Some dwarves have dug it new. They feared the sound of the chattering water in town, and the water was higher than ankle-high ! A public danger ! Those things could wet a beard !
