Maeve sat at the shore where Wiergraf once let Chaks dead body float into the sea.
Thoughtfully she looked over the watersurface and to the horizon, again thinking about her destiny. She was a toy or a tool. Nothing more.
Nontheless she loved her dark mother. Her beauty, her cruelity, her voice.
The ring at her finger started to glow and Maeve wrinkled her forehead.
"Maeve."
She heared a familiar voice behind her and turned. Her eyes widened for a second, but then she responded in her usual cold voice.
"Back again, uh? Had a nice trip?"
The dark figure slowly stepped closer to her and the next what Maeve felt was a hard slap.
Biting on her lips and trying to stifle a cry she mumbled: "yes... you are back."
