I would realy like to start making graphics... but.. i dont know the first thing. I need a Program as of now. I couldent find a link to one in the FAQ. Just tutorials.

Also, For the love of all that is holy, DONT USE ANGELFIRE!! Im sick and tierd of trying to admire stuff and all im seeing is "Hosting by Anglfire".

I don't know the first thing about making graphics, unless it has to do with MSPaint.

You could use programs such as Anim8tor, or 3d Canvas, 3d Studios max (Good luck getting that.. ) or Maya (also hard to get.. very expensive).

Making graphics isn't the easiest thing in the world. It requires good imagination...

You need good textures, good molds... it's hard.

This is a totally unrelated question but i didn't want to make a new thread.

1.Does the illarion graphics system run like 'the sims'?

2.What happened to the old character graphics? i'm just curious to know that's all.

I'm not really the person to answer this..but..

1.I do not think so. Does it look like the sims to you? And secondly, since when do we have such kickassgraphics as the sims? =3 (No offence to anyone ever involved in Illarion)

Actually, it does remind of the sims. I think some of the graphics in illarion are up to the same standard, like the wells or the holes in the ground.

Anyway, anyone the old character graphics what happened?

Hm i've had people walk up behind me thinking i was playing the sims.

Anyway its the isometric view, Thalodos, that makes it look similar to the sims.. The sims uses the same view, and the tiles look the same.

As for the old graphics, I suppose they wanted to have everything rendered in a 2d aspect, but personally, i liked the older graphics (as many others do...), especialy since the elves used to hold bows, and now they don't.

Anyways be patient, the next client will come out soon enough im sure... (soon = anywhere between 1 day to 2 years.

Thalados i can;t say this for definate but i would guess they have still have the old gfx somewhere in there hard-drives or burnt to cd somewhere anyways why are you interested?

I've had people think I was playing The Sims as well...but it is understandable, as I am known as a bit of a Sims addict. The funny thing is, I've never actually played The Sims...I just like designing houses
