Quests

Post by Korg Blacktooth »

hiya,

Heh some might know i am not really a newbie but i do have a question that has been bugging me for a long long time now.
I was just wondering how one can actually do a quest I mean are there in game quests you have to find or are they just quests you get from other people or when a special event happens?

Well you can make quest on your own, like playing your role or something happens to your Char. Then you can play big quest, where you better take gm-help cause its easier, you aybe could play something that influences the city or speacial place and then there are huge Quests like darloks quest, that influenced the whole island, you need much knowledg when you want play that and, surely, gm help.

No as long as i know there aren't any "build" in quest, i think you eman running to an npc get a quest making it and returning get what you told you get. But i think later, when the magic system is like its standing on the homepage, you will have quests for runes and so on.
You can't ask for formade quest the GM's got much to do just think about a quest and ..making it yourself and playing it is much more fun then playing a quest controlled by a GM, but you can ask for help e.g. when something on the island must be changed for your quest.
Ask our Quest GM Estralis he will help you.

You can ask any GM, it is our job ;-)

Speaking about build in quests, one could say the rune guardians send you out on a quest, although it is a minor one.

I'd try making a quest but it's sort of farfetch'd and I doubt any Gm would want to help me with it

Ooh, make a quest where you build a space craft! Then blow up Illarion! :D

Not all quests have to be complex though, it could be simple. I know one, but it would require new items and such. But not items just for one char, something that can be built upon, like an extension of a skill.

Gathering our supplies is a 'quest' of sorts. We are building a city, we need things! I like this kind of 'quest' because it gives players a way to shine with the skills they are best in.
