1) I think your status should be able to gain status as well as skills main reason: If I go to school and I start with an intelligence of 50 by the time I get out of school im expecing my intelligence to raise so why is it that intelligence and other status cannot raise but they have a maxinum that they can reach in over all status.
2) You know the water in the map that moves constantly? I ask you this WHY? why did you waste your time drawing a animations for the water when we all can see its water it simply lags the users. And the water animation sucks as it is but no offense to the artist but seriously its tiled base its a role playing game we can tell it is water and I belive we do not no need to see a pretty picture change to know that it is water.
3) You need to put the controlling of the players example: keyboard input into a thread rather then using the windows this will increase the control over your character as well as possibly make the game a little bit more easy to play not having to worry about the extreme lack of control over your character.
4) As for typing F1 to bring up a menu this i do not see as a huge problem but I really belive you should have it so you hit Escape key instead of F1 have a menu pop up that has a list of what you wish to do incase of the event you accidently hit the escape key due to the fact most games in the 21st century do use the escape over the F1 key.
5) The GUI of the screen where the items you have are listed etc. I belive you should make the back ground image so that it has a more of a better layout to see what areas are what example: Put a border of some sort around each sperate area of the GUI interface this helps keep the users of the game less confused of what they are exactly looking at.
6) As for this shif hold key thing you can leave it but. It is extremely annoying why must hit shift enable to do a action why can not. I just double click the item and then it basically knows your saying ok im going to use a action now.
7) Ok as for your little quaity thing with the numbers under the items you have in possession I belive you should make this not a built in area inside the GUI but rather as a seprate surface there for acting as a window that drags and then have focus set on a edit box that you would need to make as a seprate class or control that you could type into rather then using this because its really unprofessional looking to have a number thing on the bottem that has buttons to increase no offense.
8) As for you Message Boxes that appear when you double click on the game and tell you info why don't you just put these into a static control its annyoing to have that popup each time you run the game people just want to play they can chose if they want to read it if its in a static control.

5) sind das GUI des Bildschirms, in dem die Einzelteile Sie haben, ausgedrucktes usw.. 10) Der Text, wenn Sie sprechen, warum u tun Sie, lassen es nicht über dem Spieler richtig erscheinen? Sie konnten dieses beheben, indem Sie es anzeigten, wo der Spieler + die graphische Breite der Spieler / 2 ist und ull die Mitte des x-corrdinate erhalten, um dieses richtig anzuzeigen.

So it takes a three seconds to write?9) As for entering your name and password every freaking time you log on! Why don't you just write it to the registry and read it in to a variable each time and display? It is not much work and it saves everyone a lot of time. 2. the water-tiles are just a temporary solution. i am quite sure, they dont go over the net, so no connection to lag, etc.

some of your points may be true, i don't know, i was not able to read it (i didn't try the german version because i expect it to be even worse than the english one).
i don't know where you come from and maybe this is the reason for your english, however, your english is HORRIBLE. why don't you use *sentences*?
i don't believe that there are many original ideas inside so i won't try to "translate" your posting into a language i understand. maybe you invest some time in writing a posting next time to make it readable for the public.

Well, no insult, but I am not a native english speaker, but i did understand him quite well, so where's the problem? *tststs* Everybody nowadays seems to be complaining about the others' way to talk and to express things...
But to the proposals:
1) Gaining status points is a thing i think a RPG has to have, as even adults can gain new abilitys by only training hard enough, and this also effects your overall understanding of an issue.. but if you are able to gain new satus points, you also have to lose status points in some way. As I wouldn't want to punish people who just talk to others and have fun, a good compromise would be that you are able to redistribute a single status point after some time of training. It is ridiculous that a mage was able to cast every single spell and now even doesnt have the chance to train back the ability. (extreme-ooc: if you want to know a particular spell but your current character has 1 INT less than you need for it, then you have to start a brand new character??) So if you are content with your current character status, then just live your life. But if something in your environment changed you should be able to work on yourself to change your profession. (e.g. a physics prof can become a bodybuilder and vice-versa if only they work hard enough!)
2) The water animation in my eyes causes no server traffic, so the lag only affects users with very low hardware, but i think this point is not too serious..
4) The menu may improve the GUI, but it isnt that necessary, mainly because we have no sub-menus like all the other games (stat, quest, save, load etc).
6) The double klick works well for fast connections, but from my old modem I know that server-controlled double-klick-actions combined with every sort of lag causes extreme chaos and a lack of fun. So i would recommend keeping the shift-use.
7) I also dislike the item-counter, cause if i want to buy "1" book and "150" flasks it is really some kind of annoying to set the counter by klicking instead of typing the actual number in..
Or just write it in a registry-key to set the message as read, as reading the same message over and over again is ridicolous... but it only causes 2 secs to klick them away, so it doesnt matter to me yet..

Sounds to me that he knows what hes talking about... didn't understand #3 either... I agree that sometimes the text is not placed correctly (Sometimes, if people are talking on another's head!)
But a lot of these things he mentioned are on the very bottom of the list... I'm sure by next version, most of the few old players have learned what a depot does, so they can erase that popup or convert it to something that needs to be discussed, such as roleplaying names.
The water is fine... If you were here a looong time ago, like I was, where the world was very small, you would see that there (I believe) was no running water, and still there was just as much lag back then than there was now, if not more.
So please, before you attack the programmers/artists, play the game and enjoy it a little, and find it's good points, and build off of those.
